You're probably right..... Heath hasn't yet "proved his mettle" against any of the top-tier pros in the IFBB. I'd say 3rd isn't entirely inconceivable, but not very likely either.
Heath is about the same weight (a shade under 220) as Dexter Jackson, whom some consider the #3 guy in the world right now. I'm very curious to see how Phil does in his rookie Olympia.

If I were him. I'd sit out the rest of the year put on about 5-10 more lbs of muscle. Win the Arnold. then place top 3 at the 2007 Mr. O.

You took the words right outta my mouth.

Ronnie, Jay, Dexter, Corimer and Ruhl if they decide to come in shape, Dennis if he goes to Yates and finds out how to get dry.
I see Phil 6th or just outside
-
TOP 6 ;DONLY IF HE COME'S IN TIGHTER AT THE O
-
His left arm seemed bigger than the right

Well said , a wise move for Phil is to sit out this years Olympia , and all of next years Pro shows and add some more size and give 100% at the 2007 Olympia , who knows , the title may be vacant due to Ronnie retiring and they might be looking for somthing new?

I dont agree with this sitting out Biz. Name an athlete that has benefitted from missing events.
Jay skipped the arnold missed out on a hummer and 100k with no place improvement at the O

Phil is done two shows and won both , and at the NY his conditioning was slightly off , I would say he has nothing to gain by competing again this year , wipe the slate clean do and early show next year to qualify for the Olympia and then move on to the O !!
Dorian Yates benefitted from missing shows , at his Pro debut he finished 2nd to Momo and he felt he lost because Momo had more back thickness , he skipped all other shows , came back next year bigger & thicker , won the NOC and placed 2nd at the Olympia
You have a point though should he miss a big payday like the Arnold or wait for the Olympia , tough choice .

I stand corrected...thanks for the info

if he ever places in the top 5 at the olympia....I WILL KILL HIM....a 200lb guy among 300lbs guys...NEVER EVER!!!!HEATH WILL NOT BE EVEN IN TOP 10 AT THE OLYMPIA..mark my words
-
HEATH looks better than every other guy on stage and should be mr o
that would make our "sport" look better

He needs go ride this wave of "undefeatedness" that's his schtick right now. Competing at the Olympia this year will do nothing but take away his mystique. Competing at the Ironman and Arnold next year would be the best thing. With his physique another year of training and an additional 5-10 lbs would make a big difference for his physique as long as it didn't go to his gut. In my books he has a better physique than Dexter already The only problem he'd have is if Cutler competed. Think Dexter, Badell and Martinez would have to be 100% to beat him. Phil's shape is better than Dexter and he can come in just as hard. Phil's shape is better than Badell's, Badell would have to come in his Olympia form to beat Phil. (that's beat Phil the way he looks today, who knows how he'd look next year. and Martinez, well, this dude can't come in condition so who knows with him. The only people I see as guarentteed to beat Phil is Jay, and Ronnie.

part of what I hate about BB is that the current champs only appear the O. That is a dis-service to the fans and the sport. Also about the adding size thing. He will naturally add 5-8lbs per year, adding anything more will go straight to the gut.

You're right. But he also gave his body a much needed rest and came in the best shape of his career (after the 2001 olympia). Depends if ur in it for the money or championships I guess. Heath just needs a tad more width to break top 3. Top 6 is a lock though. Flex wasnt wide and did well though
-
I heard Dexter isnt going to compete in this years O either..
Intersting..think Dexters stratergy is to wait out the COleman reighn, and then inter the MrO to bump heads with Jay for the MRO Crown?

I agree and as he improves, in a few years, he could win the whole thing with his incredible rookie year thus far. Top 4-6 this year, then up from there.

Well it appears unanimous he isnt going to win this years O but you can see him winning every other event.
Do you see the problem with this sport?

No. What's the problem?

he wants to say that they believe the hype and make athletes win even if they don`t deserve to win.
that`s a brutal lie!
