LOL.  Is it a coincidence that you're asking this after your 500 lb. deadlift? ;D

We sell inversion tables.  Defintely makes the back feel better if it tightened up.

There are various products on the market such as inversion boards that can aid spinal decompression. My friend bought a pair of boots with reverse hooks for £50 used for hanging from a chin up bar. Felt quite strange wearing them.

Lol! It's Girvan. Thought I'd stop lurking and start posting. Pretty interesting round here. You're looking good man, glad to see training's going well. I'm just starting to hit the weights again, feels great. Felt a bit puny for a while.

Definately used to help me hanging upside down.
Or just try doing it off the end of a hyperextension bench and just hanging your torso while hugging a plate or 2 and trying to relax at the same time.
Heat packs too - deep heat ointments, massage, all that stuff helps.
Best thing I ever had was a seriously deep tissue massage on the lower back and buttocks - a bit weird but worth it if you can get someone who is really skilled and can apply enough pressure. Had to get a male deep tissue specialist to do mine as I just don't think a woman would have enough strength.

Yeah. A fews years on and off really. Despite my various vacations from the gym I like to keep up with the sport. Seen most of the vids, very impressive. Glad to see you've got a good grounding knowledge wise. Really gonna be hitting the weights hard this summer, started back on Monday to get the provisions in. I'll hopefully get a few pics of my own up to motivate myself. I'm around 210 despite the 2 year hiatus. That centaur's a roungh oul gym. I'll def get a workout in with ya when I'm over in the summer. To the rest of getbig- this guy's the real deal. 100% natural, hardworking guy.

Cheers girv. i wa stold by mckee and cull that u were harly trainin tho still putting up big weights. i heard you were traininwith sean gibson too.

U always were able to put on some big size very quickly. my trianing raggedy tho i hit 126 3x5 on bench tho since then hurt shoulder. trained with cull one day last week. he trains very quickly i hang about for 2 hours.

i lik eto keep up with it tho this place is just a slabberin ground now but thats wat makes it appealing. few other guys u might know from trianin with cull etc aidan donnelly he trains in cent now. getting hard now cos it summer and too warm. but cant complain.

my knowledge aint great just sick to simple exercises. on this ive turned into an asshole just slabberin to ppl. its wat happens. lookin forward to the pics sure ur still huge.

between sets of squats or deads i hang from a bar and just sway back and forth for a few seconds, it makes me feel better anyway.

Hang from a bar (with your hands). Tense up for a few seconds and release. You will feel yourself 'drop'. Repeat this a few times.

I would also like to know.

Joe Meeko claimed to have lost two full inches from squatting.  While I doubt this claim I'm pretty sure some height loss is possible.

Yeah, but doesn't he do weighted chin-ups or pull-ups? Cuuz deeze should make da man larga a-gain.

i decompress it daily...also in between sets of deads, squats, presses, heavy shruggs....i use straps to hang from a bar...as i exhale everytime i let my lower body pull a bit more....it's like streching ...u gotta learn to relax. it does magik to your discs
