Was watching 94 Olympia.This was the one where Dorian had a bad bicep (Zane even stresses this) Great competitors of all sizes...IMO Dorian was the only freak who started to have the distended belly. Everyone was aesthetic...Cottrell, Pastel, Munzer
Interesting how out of 23 participants....
2 3 are still competing - Ronnie, Cormier and Gunther (who didnt even place in this show)
2 are deceased - Sonny and Andreas
The rest have hung up the trunks either due to age, lack of a career or just plain retirement

Yeah, then Paul turned around and the laughter began. The guy had no control over his body at all and no detail from head to toe from behind. He was too big! He was unable to handle his own body.
Paul actually stated in 95 that Dorian's physique on that day was the best he had ever seen.

See most of the time I enjoy going back and forth with you and its all in good fun , but you have this massive complex about not quoting people correctly , I challenge you right here & now to find any words in which I labeled you a ' racist ' I dare you , kid when you don't quote me correctly or put it into context it shows you have nothing to work with and thus must create stuff to work with
I mearly pointed out that you brought Dorian's race into that debate before anyone did , YOU refered to Dorian as the " blocky white guy " and I mearly pointed it out ;) why you would say he was a ' blocky white guy ' is odd and beyond me , but make no mistake , you can't find me ' labeling you a racist '
So stop looking for anyone who will side with you by not being a 100% forth comming , it makes you look suspect and loopy .

Have you ever seen any back shots of Paul? Or are you another of these guys who saw a bodybuilding mag for the first time a few months ago and said "wow big guy"?
Dorian beat them both easily. You really need to learn about your "sport" boy.

the first pic is a bit odd- paul looks much bigger than dorian, when in reality, that aint true.
i have the 97 O on tape and when the camera zooms in for the comparisons between dorian and paul you see why and how dorian beat paul from the front and the side, let alone from the back.

At one point during the prejudging in 1994, Dorian shoved Paul hard.
Paul tried to step between Dorian and Levrone during a callout. Dorian wasnt going to give up the center position on stage. So he shoved Paul and Paul looked embarrassed. A humbling experience for Dillett.

The first place of Dorian was a scandal. (same thing in 96)
Dorian was not even in top 10 (horrible biceps, gut, legs, smooth...)

What's the deal with me getting into contest shape and not almost killing myself with diuretics? And why, oh why, can't I hit shots where my muscles look soft and doughy? WHEN, LORD? WHEN'S GONNA BE MY TIME???????"
Yep. Winning Sandows and standing next to a guy that has the work ethic of a welfare mom with 15 kids must make him feel really out of place.

I like that. Paul was a good guy though, he always acknowledged Dorian as a great champion.

Yeah...he went to the WWF as the character Brakkus. Then he got knocked out in the first round of the Brawl For All Tournament in (I think) 1997. It was a tournament like the Tough Man contest. The eventual winner was Bart Gunn. He got knocked out in the first round by Butterbean WrestleMania XIV or XV.

you know what, after so many years competing in the olympia, the 90's was the decade where shawn ray could have easily win at least one olympia. this pic shows how great of a physique the man had.

i think yates kicked ass on that day..he virtually owned every 1 in terms of overall conditioning and off course with his huge back and calves,chest,triceps.....yates was the bigger guy and he deserved it fair and square....
