I suppose we can all be superhumans with the help of the lord right?

I think that's the point he's trying to make, and lying like that is pathetic.

My mom once said that if my life isn't going well I should pray and see what difference it makes.  Meanwhile almost everything goes well in my life and I never pray.  It's really sad the type of dependency organized religion says people require.

You've got it all twisted, my fellow Ontarian. You should pray when things are going well AND when they're going bad. Life has ups and downs. As long as you keep God in your heart and in your mind, the bad times pass and you become stronger. its like resistance training for your soul.

Sadder still is the fact that conmen like this are currently running the country...

Praise the LORD and pass the cold beer. He looks like he is straining to pinch a loaf on the throne , I bet he did a "support it in place"  rep and snapped the pic.

The LORD will not accept your lack of faith in a full rep here.

Well. It's good to see another veteran member of our society lifting weights and staying healthy that way.

Just like my grandmother.

Why Robertson is a lying SOB, I have no idea. He should know better... 8)

Let's look at the bright side of this: He may inspire some Christian Conservative people to hit the gym and get healthy.

Now, if only Dick Cheney and Al Franken would go national TV and show us how to benchpress three plates for reps... 8)

*Rush Limbaugh could probably do some serious squatting, the bloke has the midsection to get good stability in a suit no doubt. I think we could be looking at a 600 lbs squat, equipped, from Rush if he starts some serious powerlifting training. Give the guy 2 years.

*Al Franken. Managed to bulk up lately. And got long arms, should be able to put the hurt on in the deadlift. 545 lbs should be flying in record time, then it's all about trying to get 600 lbs.

*Strom Thurmond... Well. He's retired from competition.

*Newt Gingrich. Little feisty fella. Short arms, big chest. Potential in the benchpress.

*Al Gore. Another deadlifter. Long arms, big back. Big dude. May be looking at 600lbs + lifts very soon.

* John Kerry. No, I'm sorry. But he'll probably do a good time in Triathlon or Multisport.

* Colin Powell. Benchpress and Squat. Look for Powell to go for the Masters III World Record whenever he wants to. Big man.

* John Edwards. Has a good back, and with some sumo deadlifting training, will be able to become a serious contender.

* Madeleine Albright. Benchpress potential obviously.

Health is wealth.

Hysterical and true.

I don't give a shet how old that guy is.  It's a sorry ass leg press.  I'd hit him with a monster DEPTH!  If I saw him in the gym.  People need to chill on the ego thing and do a full rep.  I'd have more respect for a guy going deep on 2 plates.  Praise Jesus!

The CBN Web site attributes Robertson's energy in part to "his age-defying protein shake." The site offers a recipe for the shake, which contains ingredients such as soy protein isolate, whey protein isolate, flaxseed oil and apple cider vinegar.

Bwahaha. Nice one. Should have added something about how he in his competitive days competed both in the 'whites only' division as well as occasionally dipping into the 'coloureds' division.   ;)
