I started boxing-type training on my non-lifting days (heavybag, jump rope, shadow boxing etc.). Although I'm really enjoying it, I'm concerned. Any opinions on whether this will negatively impact muscle mass, recuperation time etc.?

i had an ameteur boxer show me how to fight and i was suprised how sore i was after starting out and working muscles i didn't know i had something you should think about doing is lifting weights early in the day if you have time and doing your boxing workout after you done enough stretching which is the most important and as long as your getting at least 8 hours of sleep you will be good.

If you box on non-workout days it might effect future size gains slightly, but at the same time you'll also gain a more athletic, dense look IMO.
The alternative as he said would be to box and lift on the same day and still allow for recovery days off.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to keep on doing it under one of the two options discussed above.
