Not much of a point to make, just something i noticed. Today I was playing texas holdem at greektown casino in Detroit and Pride was playing on the tv behind our table. The group at my table ranged from a 21 year old kid, to a 40ish married couple and even a geriatric lady. Anyway, when Silva knocked the piss out of this guy,( Maybe Guy Mezger?), everyone stopped what they were doing and oohed and ahhed. Like I said, no big point to make, I just feel optimistic that MMA will continue to grow.

it's guys like silva and fedor that are keepin Pride 2 levels above UFC

silva is the reason ufc will always be prides bitch in the eyes of the fans :)

alot of those loses were bullshit they were just letting the guys who paid there dues win typical UFC judging criteria

yea, those were over six years ago... and 2 of those guys lost to chuck liddel who had nothing on Rampage in 2003, and Rampage lost 2x to Silva by KO.  so it would be interesting to see how they will fair up today
