Post by: JMentis on June 19, 2006, 03:12:19 PM
just got this email....

For Immediate Release

PDI ANNOUNCES THE SIGNING OF SAMI AL-HADDAD TO COMPETE IN NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS

Pro Division Inc is proud to announce that Sami Al-Haddad has signed a contract to compete in NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS XXVII, Saturday, September 16th, at the Town Hall Theater in New York City.

Sami has won just about every major title in the Middle East and he is looking to do some real damage at NOC and in the professional ranks of PDI.

Sami, who resides in Bahrain, has won the Mr. Bahrain title nine times. He has also won the Mr. U.A.E. in 1996, two-time Mr. Kuwait in 1997 and 1998, Mr. Asia in 1998, Mr. Qatar in 2002, Mr. Arab Gulf in 2002 and Mr. Pro World in 2005. Sami is also known for his aesthetic and majestic posing that will certainly bring down the house in New York in September.  At a height of 5’8’, Sami promises to come in at a rock hard 205 pounds with 21” arms and a 29” waist.

Sami will be making his first competitive appearance in New York at Night of Champions this September.

“PDI is very excited about the signing of Sami Al-Haddad and having him compete in New York at Night of Champions in September” exclaims PDI’s CEO Wayne S. DeMilia. “Sami has that unique combination of size and symmetry that fans and judges alike want to come to fruition on a Bodybuilding stage. We are ecstatic that this will occur on September 16th in the form of Sami Al-Haddad.”

Anyone wishing to purchase tickets for Night of Champions XXVII can do so in person at any Ticketmaster outlet in New York City, by calling Ticketmaster at 212-307-4100, through the web at www.ticketmaster.com/venue/24622, through the PDI office at prodivisioninc@yahoo.com or at 845-638-9290.

I do have to say ..yes he cheated in a natural contest, and the episode was even bragged about it .... and we sould look down on those type of things ..as I do with anything that lacks integrity... but he does look good (nohomo) so unless the pdi is a clean show... which it is not if lee preist is in it, then he should place high and be comended on what he looks like day of the competetion ... I thought Id never say this but

  ??Go Team, The Game ?? :o :o :o :o

VERY impressive physique.. just a matter of time till these amazing physiques come out and get the recognition they deserve. Going to be great to see new faces with physiques to match.

He looks good - aside from the Dream tan.

BUT, looking that in a Natural contest in the past was  shameful...  A little obvious...

damn, some of these new guys make me very optimistic about bodybuilding's future. Guys like Richard Jones, Phil Heath, Steve Kuclo, Jason Huh, Dennis Wolf, Frank McGrath and Sami Al-Hadad, all have good size yet maintain aesthetic physiques with no gross distended bellies.

If DeMilia had some smarts, he would go around scan the local NPC contest scenes all over the US for young and up and coming guys, and offer them real contracts with the PDI.

Then he could get the type of physique he's looking for, and he would also not have to settle for guys who couldn't cut it in the NPC, or win their pro cards.

Quite frankly, he could get more talented athletes by contacting up and coming guys like Kuclo, Vander and others before they get too big to fit the more classic style of the PDI.

Right now, Sami is the only one with great genetics for bodybuilding in the PDI (I won't count Lee Priest as a PDI athlete anymore). He could be a great.

The rest of the guys are pretty mediocre at best, they're not any Mr Olympia in the making.
