Title: How to Keep Bloodpressure Low while taking performance supplements
Post by: vstade on June 23, 2006, 11:17:53 AM
I have a question to anyone out there what is a good way to keep the bloodpressure low while training for a show or on performance supplements. I know the obvious answer is stop taking the supplements but if that is not an option what else do people use. My doctor just put me on a blood pressure med Aceon which I really wanted to avoid but will deal with it. Thanks for reading and thanks for the input.

Stay away from Animal Cuts by Universal Nutrition - my bp and heart rate were so high my doc thought I had just run a marathon - problem was I'd only been sitting on a bus  :o

I think some BP meds keep your heart rate low, so even if you're training hard (cardio), you'll never reach that "target heart rate".  I'd talk to the doc and tell him everything you're on or considering.
