Last year, Flex magazine reported that Will Harris was retireing from competition, discouraged as he was by his poor showings at the 2005 NY and Toronto shows. Sadly, it seemed World was to fade away before he could fulfill his potential, like so many pros before him. Not so!

According to Flex online, Mr. Harris is back and ready to kick it - old school, no doubt. He'll be competiting at this year's Europa Super Show, casting aside his rocking chair and donning his posing trunks once more.
Will Harris, who is also planning to enter the fray at the Europa, welcomes anyone who dares distract him from his training ritual at Gold’s Gym in Venice, California. “People who say they can’t train in California because of the distractions are people who are too easily distracted,” he says. “I have my sights set on big things and I am too focused to let anything get in my way. My training has been as close to Dorian Yates’ style of blood and guts as you can get, and as a result I am growing while dieting.”
He continues, “Big Will will be qualifying for the Olympia, and will have several surprises for those who doubt me. I just want take this opportunity to slow down the rumor mill and let all everyone know that I have not retired. I’m about to be reborn and show the world that when I control my destiny, my nutrition and training, nothing will stand in my way.”

Off the top, you gotta love it when someone speaks in the 3rd person - seriously. Secondly, it looks like Will Harris will have another opportunity to make the impact he was supposed to make last year. He's quite a character and I sincerely hope he does well.

Will looked great when he qualified at the USA's beating out the "but he's still young ::)" Chris Cook for the second pro card :) He's a huge dude with a weird but aesthetic build, he just needs to nail his conditioning while maintaining his size and he's def top 3 material at a smaller show.

I bet you anything you have never met Will. He came to my first show here and when he came out to my car when I picked him up from the hotel he is just simply awesome in person. He is so huge. And I am saying it as a guy who is impressed with size that easily since I am bigger than most anyone. He s enormous in the off season yet still looks great. You are defintiely talking out of your ass on this one. I had a great picture of him with Mike Dragna that was just unreal. His arm is as big as Mike is thick (his whole body). I actually like Will a little heavier than when he competes though

He was easily the biggest guy in there and i even met gunter, who was being trained by charles glass.
Mike christian was on the treadmill and his triceps were bangin out of his sweatshirt.

I train there as well. Harris is a big man, but gets kinda out of shape in the off-season. He is in better shape now.
Yes, he is huge. Not as big Gunter though. I have no idea why you would say he is.
Christian is training quite consistently. He must be around 50 now

Those rumors were flying when these pics were posted. Some anonymous poster told Matt T how rumors were flying in Gold's that World Harris were Matt's Sugar Daddy or something.

It's weird. Like Onlyme said, I think Will looks way better when he is bigger. I had seen pics of him in various mags hanging around in Golds and some pics of him on the net where he was unreal looking. Then I check out his competition pics when he went pro and thought, "How can this be the same guy?" He looked good, but to go from 300+ down to 220 something is crazy. I actually had a friend that was like that. He would be in the gym and just have full thick build and look fantastic- not to fat either. But, when he competed he went down to like 157 from 220 (guy was like 5'6") and looked like he stepped out of a prison camp! Later on he figured out how to dial it in (read as: got his diet AND juice down right) and I believe he won the state championships. Anyhow, good luck to Will, and here's to hoping he gets it right and we see the real freak!

No offense to Will, because he has a great physique- but relative to the top pros (top 15 or so), he looks poor. I think his metabolism is too slow or something because he has problems dieting down properly.
