Title: Lower back equipment question
Post by: Ledd on July 15, 2006, 07:14:37 PM
Have you guys used that piece of equipment that you lay face down on with your legs supported at the quads and calfs and do basically a reverse situp?  I'm sure you have I dont know what its called.  Anyhow anyone think thats a good exercise?

Hyperextensions. They work very well especially on days where you've blasted back with excersises like t-bar rows or barbell rows and can't really do deads anymore. Good mornings are done in the same fashion but standing with a barbell on your shoulder blades as if you were doing a squat.

Yes they work very well for your lower back.  Make sure you start off lightweight.

I do these laying on my stomach on a stability ball with light weight. Very tough!
