Title: Vince Taylor & Future Bets
Post by: littleguns on July 18, 2006, 09:20:38 AM
Again Vince had to do what's best for him..

I will wager the following:

Regardless of his conditioning; Vince will get a top 6 placing at the "O"

Vince will be picked up by Twin Labs (since Lee is no longer on board) or another Supplement company

And of course just so that he stays in the IFBB

There is alot more shadyness/politics in the IFBB than many of us think.

i never even told you guys that onstage they gave me a 2nd place mens open superheavyweight trophy by mistake.........

when i went to get the right one the promoter of the show said
"we don't have a mens open heavyweight 3rd place trophy
do you mind taking a mens superheavyweight 3rd place trophy(they had 2 by mistake)
at that point i was so disgusted ................i didn't care

Why? Contests are crappy, you enter for yourself I doubt you ever look real hard and see the superheavy. You trophy looks pretty good anyways, you got lucky, haha most are little 5 inch plastic ones.

Gee youd think they could spare a better one he.

I bet you did feel like WTF but to tired to care like you sais and were just waiting to get some treats

They will probably place him high to show others that being an IFBB company man pays off.

You should of smashed it on stage and pulled a sitdown strike until the proper award was presented to you ;D  I've seen it done and no one in the audience will ever forget the excitement that night.

As for Vince.  I know He's legendary, but why all the fuss about a 40 something master, who's better days are behind him?  With the prize money and national exposure why would their be a shortage on pros who know they have no future with the IFBB?  Even young 2nd tier pros will only get better and what better place to sharpen their skills than on a stage where they at least have a chance of cracking the top 5 and bringing home something to compinsate for all the supps needed to compete now days.  I could name names, but so could we all and there are many who should make the switch.  Why should just one organization run the world world of professional bodybuilding?
