Kamali would have done well in the club circuit as one of those Guido-looking guys that parade around with imaginary-lat syndrome and the spandex XX-small shirt.

You know the type, you always see them at the club's parking garage doing curls with a barbell they keep in the trunk of the car right before they walk in with their pinnacle pump for the night.

I know that one has to "pay his dues" but some of those guys had no business beating Frank - and I bet if King entered he would have been far ahead of him too.  How did King beat Vince Taylor and Gunter Schlierkamp at the 2001 Olympia, not to mention some other superior pros??

'01 was Kamali's breakout year, it was when he was introduced to the mainstream, was doing all the trash talking and everyone had a buzz going on around him...McGrath is far superior than Kamali....
