Okay - so people kept telling me how good it was and needed to see it, blah blah blah.... I finally picked it up today and that movie makes SAW and THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE seem like PG-13 films. HOSTEL made me cringe as my skin crawled, but damn was it good! Worth owning!

The Devil's Rejects wasn't bad either. The Cave was too predictable. Deep Water was average. Last year's White Noise, though not much in the way of blood & gore, I liked along with The Grudge. With me, it's depends if I'm in the mood to watch those type of pictures. Not in the horror vein but I thought Nation Treasure was one kick ass movie. Good Luck.

Just watched that Hostel film - can't say I was too impressed and it's been a while since I've seen a good horror film. It wasn't particularly scary but the women in it are fit. I'll check out "The Hills Have Eyes" next and see if that's any better.

Saw is a good movie, but nothing great. It's a movie you'd probably just watch one time - at least that's me.

I am a loser...I have wanted to see saw and hostel but just not gotten around to doing that yet.....
but I must say, The Descent looks scary as hell!!!! I don't konw if it came out last year, but for some reason I have only seen it advertised very recently? Its the movie with the chicks taking a hike in some caves....well, when I first saw the commercial at the beginning of a movie, i started laughing out loud bc it looked super stupid...but then when shit started happening and then the lights went out with those things....I almost had a heart attack just watching the trailer!!! And it takes a whole lot to scare me.
So does anyone know what Im talking about? Is it out or what?

Okay - I've just watched "Saw" and it was pretty good by all accounts - no hot pieces of ass like "Hostel" because it's a different type of film and I liked the twist at the end. It had a decent plot to it and it has now made me want to see "Saw II".
"Hostel" just seems like a bit of a teen movie compared to it what with all the youngsters and all.

A bunch of us got together and did this before... It was fun for a couple years but then got old... So it wasn't much fun for me :'( Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2 were much better works ;D
