I'd like to have a duscussion about this topic.
Whether you like to admit it or not, whether it is a good thing OR a bad thing, we live in a very "white" (as in Caucasian race) world here in the West, in particular, white influence (political).
What I'd like to know is how did this arrise white dominated ecosystem arrise, how did we get into this state, and what variables would of resulted in a different outcome.

i think it came from the resources (in america) we had when we showed up. The indians were behind us in tech and we killed them by the thousands and took over. we Imported the chineese and blacks and mexicans and kept them as the builders and workers for the richer white familys and oppressed them for many years as we consoladated the power and set the rules. In other parts of the world its the same thing, africans get stuck because they have a shitty place to live and have been working to get past feeding everybody for thousand of years. The middle east spend all there time and energy fighting each other over religion and without the support of the US israiel would be in the same situation. Most of the times its people holding people back in each land where at least in places that have open chances to advance thru hard work it does not matter now what color you are.

well look at history, the china's are locked into one area and are family centric and choose not to expand. the Romans were aggressive and expanded all over the middle east and europe adapting other groups and changing the way things were done. Europe was influenced by the romans in regard to goverment but spent alot of time in the "king ship" groth model which is consoladate all your power to one area and stay within your borders.
For the most part white europe and america have been pushing the tech field/industrial field more then any other group. africa and asia and latian america all have the numbers but have not turned out the product or got past petty infighting and cultural differences to advance fast enough. When, besides st pattys day do you here a white person claim to be anything other then what they are? I have blood from sweeden in me but I do not introduce myself as a sweedish american, white people as a group have lost racial idenity and tend to only reconise social status (how much you own) more then any other group, the black couture to some exten does this but more so in a way of showing there better then the others not as a position of power.

Well one turning point that led to the white man's rise was the rising of Rome as a superpower, which came with Carthage's defeat.
Another thing that inadvertently led to the rise of the white man was Genghis Khan assult on the middle east and decline of the Ottoman Empire.

Yeah, but they were in decline way before WWI.
The reason I pointed out Genghis Khan is because if he hadn't attacked from the East the Ottomans might have sucessfully invaded Europe.

recently in history, the rise of caucasian man can be partly explain by navigation, and colonization of new continents. To some extent, new ressources coming from abroad (cotton from the U.S) led to greater need for faster means of transformation, wich probably led to the industrial revolution.
That last phase (industrialization) is what separate predominantly white countres from the rest of the world.

I was in a rotten mood as I was being made a fool of, again, on another thread.
I just found it so incredible that you would feel that white man will continue to dominate (and no, i'm not doing the "all races are equal" story.
I imagine that where you are is predominately white. Blair and Bush, yes, are white. But we've had a female PM and I don't think it will be too long until we see a black or asian leader, either here or in the US. They've even got an equal-opps thing in the government and everywhere now whereby they have to have so many women and so many from "ethnic" groups. Britain is now 2nd-3rd generation inter-racially mixed.
Only 50 years ago the UK ruled the world. The whole map, practically, was pink. Then we gave it all back, or whatever. Had to.
And then opened the gates for massive immigration.
Also, white families nowadays seem to have only one or two kids (in Russia they're not having any although that's due to poverty). Here, it's leaving it late and having a career or not even bothering like me. And Muslim and Hindu families are breeding big time. Also West Indian and African families have lots of kids. Which is great, I'm not criticising, just telling it like it is.

i belive the control and domination of the white man has come from years of evolving. and when european armies conquered places hundreds of years ago they didn't tear it down burn it to the ground and leave they took things from the culture they were envading and left the culture with more of themselves. therefore they not only did they gain control of more land and valuables but they were also spreading there seed and knowledge....... but i also fully agree that color is and should be the least of anyone's worries. if color matters to you i can honestly say you have never been in a foxhole with live rounds piercing thru skin of your fellow soldiers all around you. On top of grenades and mortars exploding because at that time the man next to you is the only other option you have at defense and it doesnt matter if hes white black or f*cking green it matters that all of you make it out alive and that is when race is just a discusion on a board for some bigot who has never thought that white blood, black blood, hispanic blood its all f*cking blood and we all bleed the same so F*CK RACIST BIGOTS....

be honest you did not join for the people on the outside and there rights you joined for your personal honor and the guys you bled with were the only people you cared about. Your right, I didnt join for the people. But when I got in, I was blessed to have a DI who installed that we weren't there for ourselves. He always stated if you joined there was apart of you that was there to serve the pride of our country. And being in places like Iraq, made me realize that if it wasn't for our service men and women we wouldnt have freedom of speech. We would be like any other country where we as a people would be told what to do, how to dress, and how to think. I can agree with you, that when i started it was about me. But when i quit it was about the people i love and interact with everyday. When he first fired up this thread i was going to post this long thing about the West..including Meso Americans..and even the Chinese being more rational. Good post, and pretty much on the money. The Arab world, Africa, and parts of south Asia and Latin America will always be the "have-nots" of the world unless they grow the fucck up and realize that economics is far more important than religion, tribalism, or nationalism.

I said "parts" of south Asia...I wasn't really thinking about India; moreso Indonesia, Malaysia, the -stan's, Whateverthehell Burma is calling themselves these days, and Sri Lanka. Although India needs to keep their eyes on the ball and keep this thing with the Pakis, as well as the problems with their own Muslims and Sikhs in check or they could easily fall back into the shitter. They have a billion people and a good number of them speak English, yet it's taken them this long to be "on the rise", mainly due to that.
