Not true. The debate is raging. There are differences of opinion on the DNA test results. Not sure about burial of black descendants.
That said, I'm convinced he sired those kids.

Supposedly it has been said that his nephews (damn boy couldn't keep in their pants) could have sired the kids. And it is a well known fact that many of the Southern bells were suppose to keep their virginity (not to be deflowered, OH GAWD!!), so who are teenage boys gonna screw? Well, the female slaves of course.
Here is the head scratcher: Mr. Jefferson writes a books that states in it that miscegenation is bad, but takes his wife's half sister ( 14 yr old Sally Hemmings-a "gift" to her sisters) on a trip to Paris, but not his wife ???
