This is WAY bigger than that farce surrounding Barry Bonds.

I soooooo love steroid news in the media! Every time Ihear about this pro or that pro being busted or how this guy is writing a tell-all book or how Balco is this or how Marion Jones is that...all I hear is CHA-CHING!!!

The more the media gives steroids publicity...the more people want to experiment with it and want to use it.

Keep it up! I never have to use money out of my paychecks for gas, cell phone bill, groceries, supplements or the occasional eat-out lunch.

I'm thinking about getting myself an iPod...saw a good one at BestBuy for about $200.

Let's hope the news and sportswriters give steroids more attention!

I say make it an even playing field and let the athletes use as much gear as they like, imagine the monstrositys that would be competing.
Athletes could be ahving heart attacks as they hit the finish lines on the 100 meter sprints.

funny how they always deny about using but a bit later it always catches up with them.

from marion jones, who just last week tested for EPO, gatlin, palmero, the cyclist who just failed and doesnt know why his testosterone is 7 times higher than what is should be.

Duhhh...uhhh...but anybody who has been around bodybuilding for decades knows that it is built upon layer and layer of LIES in regard to providing information to the general public!!

Why, athletes and BB'ers have been LYING about how they augmented their training with doping...uhhh, they really didn't use those $$$ food supplements to augment their training that they "swear by" in the BB mags...for decade upon decade.  And, a BB "industry" (e.g. the mags and supplement manufacturers) that do everything to deliberately hide the truth in this regard!!

Besides lies about food supplement benefits, lies about training routines and training equipment, lies about the influence of queers and schmoes for the financial backing/support of many BB'ers, etc.,...why, it's all reminiscent of the "snake oil' salesmen back during the turn of the 19th-20th century.

Mostly done with this goal in mind...to deliberately mislead you so as to fleece your pockets!!!

Why do people fight this? WHY? You can NEVER stop it.

Instead, legalize it, clean out this garbage black market which does nothing but harm, EDUCATE people about steroids, only can be used by healthy adult (21) males. Rigorous high school testing. Doctor supervision.

In a recent UK study, tobacco was the 4th most dangerous drug, with steroids being a distant 16th. Makes tons of fucking sense ::)

I thought Gatlin was the white US sprinter.  What's the white sprinter's name?

The disappointing thing about Gatlin is that he didn't have to use anything illegal.

The track & field community is very snooty when it comes to protecting the sanctity of their sport.  They don't care who you are or what you've achieved...if they feel you were dirty, they'll drag you under the bus, and then hang you out for the vultures.  And even though suspensions expire, no one is ever welcomed back with open arms.

Hey dude, I work at a club now on Saturday nights.  Bouncer if you can believe it.  :D It's sad when I'm more muscular than at least 90% of the guys who walk in.  I only took that job for the eye candy though.  Best decision of 2006.  ;D

damn i'm jealous!  Luckily I just got a new band together and plan on having a little fun soon again.

check out me on guitar-

LOL. Gatlin has an eight year ban? What pro athlete can be out of competition for eight years and still compete. Why not just a lifetime ban?

Good.  The more negative attention steroids get, the better.

I think they make their decisions on sentencing based on the age of the athlete.  When they gave Katrin Krabbe 2 years, that was the end of the line for her.

Gatlin is really young, so a 2-year ban wouldn't teach him any crushingly hard lessons.

If Gatlin is smart, he'll continue bulking up and go try out for an NFL team.  Tell me one team that wouldn't kill to get the World's Fastest Man onto their roster.  The problem is that, even with his newly-added mass, the kid is still a virtual flyweight...he'll need another 10-12 lbs before he can think of even getting on the field, but he could build a nice career for himself in the NFL, which does not have to respect his ban from another sport.

Sounds like a good plan, you should put in a email to him. I dont think he needs to be that big though for rb. Look at clinton portis, or reggie bush they are tiny

it is funny he got caught, usually after second time offence it is a life time ban, only cause he is selling out the rest of us, that they gave him a 8 year ban.

That might be pretty good plan. Sort of a modern day Renaldo Nehimiah (sp) type transition. Interesting.

Nehemiah is actually the kid's agent.  I assume he will continue to represent him in spite of the suspension.  At this point, I would assume that Gatlin's big Nike sponsorship is going away, so he'd likely have to go on the anti-drug lecture circuit to make ends meet.

He turned pro after only 2 years in college, so I'm sure Tennessee would welcome him back to complete his degree.

He's 6-1, 180, so he should be looking at becoming an NFL receiver.

YES! I agree...the better it is for me just like most BB's...it makes every gym rat around find steroids so incredibly sexy and seductive and intriguing and interesting. Puts alot of coin in my fanny pack.

Way to post on the internet that you sell steroids. Maybe one of the FBI/DEA agents will just skim over your post when they watch these boards.

Maybe for your next post, you can enlighten us on why your screen name is "whitewidow".

Very interesting indeed. If anyone should know how to make the transition, Nehemiah sounds like the guy. Good luck to the kid. 6'1" 180 is fine for an NFL receiver. I'm not sure how much he'll enjoy 'going across the middle' but I suppose no NFL receiver likes doing that.

I wouldn't buy gear from you. You don't even know which iPod model is any good. Cheapskate.
