I suspect they deflate most the glycogen from his muscle before a race. Making his muscles appear to be 15 times smaller than normal. The french seem to have a lead which told them Lance actually walks around as a guy named "Jay Cutler" when he is not racing. Obviously the vacuum technique has dramatic results on Lances body making him lose up to 200 drug induced pounds of muscle.

hey iīm all for drugs in pro sports. i found it ridiculous, that they suspended the guys who would have won the tour this year, Ulrich and Basso, just because there was evidence that they took test, epo, insulin, growth hormone and whatever else.
everyone in their right mind knows that the rest of the field takes shit, too. if they wanted to clean out, they should have cancelled the whole tournament.
the greatest genetic freak in cycling in the last decade or so is Ulrich, which is proven by performance tests, and he was/is a proven heavy drug user. so lance definetly NOT being genetically superior to Ulrich and beating the shit out of him in france every year shows something......

Is this what a man's supposed to look like? I see these wankers everywhere with their i-pods strapped to their 10 inch arm checking their heart-rate monitors to see if they're in that "cardio zone". And it's not like they have fit looking physiques. They're bony and flabby! Every year they just get bonnier and flabbier. If you're doing all that cardio you'd think they'd be cut but no. No physical presence - nothing to show for their efforts.
I'd rather be able to squat a car and die before 60 then live to 100 being weak, defenceless, and completely lacking a physical presence.

The rumors are that Lance is training for a marathon. He was a tri athlete prior to being a pure bike racer. He is also a really good swimmer. I think running was his weakest part of his tri athlete days. I think he's is in for a shock if he tries to keep up with the African runners who are dominating almost all the big marathon races. They are running sub 5 minute miles for 26 miles. Try one sub 5 minute mile on your treadmill if it will even go that fast.
They are built like middle to light heavy boxers. I don't see any running backs,boxers, Olympic wrestlers, MMA fighters,sprinters, or Olympic weight lifters built like the current cosmetic drug bodybuilders. They have real physiques. A real athlete cares about function not cosmetics through pharmaceuticals.

I believe Armstrong's tests were actually better than Ulrich's. A lot of people say that Ulrich is more talented than Armstrong, but this is debatable. His technique of riding seems more fluent, but that's about it... I have no doubt in my mind that both of them were doped up to the extreme, i was just pointing out that Lance has great genetics.
Also: you said that Lance didnt win anything before his cancer. This is also not true at all. When he was young he did triathlons and excelled at them. I believe due to shoulder problems he switched to his best part: cycling. Before cancer he won several big events, became world champion. Problem was that he wasnt really focussed and he weighed too much. He didn't train for the big Tours either, just for the one-day courses.
Only after the cancer he gained the focus, drive to prepare for the Tour de france. Ulrich never had that and was overweight almost every time the Tour began. Lance's fanatical training gave him the edge.

Drugs are more prevalent in world class cycling than they are in bodybuilding. Anyone that thinks Armstrong wasn't doped to the gills is in for a big surprise this year when Santa Claus doesn't actually come down the chimney.
That being said his accomplishments are incredible. To be the best at anything in the world 7 times in a row is astonishing.
He was doping but so was his competition, so ultimately it's a wash.

Fact is, they are fit and do have fit physiques. Not everyone wants to be a muscular bodybuilder and they shouldn't be critisized for it. At least they are not fat pigs, right?
Additionally, don't be so quick to assume that someone is weak and defenseless because they don't have 18 inch arms. I've met quite a few guys that were boxers and martial artists who are skinny by BB standards but who are capable of easily beating the living crap out of someone. Being big does not equate to being a lethal badass.

As to the doping allegations, they are nothing more than that, allegations.
Armstrong was drug tested more than any other athlete in history and never tested positive once. Ullrich tested positive, as well as this year's winner, Landis.
The way Armstrong trained was similar to the way Coleman trains, no one even comes close.
While ullrich was busy getting high on E, Armstong was riding up L'Alpe D'Huez ;)

Why thank you, but I'm pushin' 40. But Duez isn't a cat 4 climb. As I said I'm a cat 2 rider. I've won some, but with family it's hard to devote the time and energy to try and be a cat1(pro). I went from being a 235 lb bber to a 175lb bike racer.

lance was an average cyclist for the long tournaments like tour de france before his "cancer treatment". i mean of course you are a heck of a cyclist if you can just start there, but cīmon, he wasnīt even a threat to crack top 20 at the tour.

And as the photo you've posted proves, the Aryan Mountain of Muscle clearly has great fashion sense. As far as "hoes" go, one has to look no further than his wife - the lovely Simone - to see that the Big Man is also quite a hit with the ladies. ....if you need drug tests to issue 'proof' then you're a PERFECT fan for bodybuilding....and by the way, many pro's have tested negative under very stringent drug tests...but hey, if you really think Lance is some super human then have fun....and keep waiting up for the Great Pumpkin while you're at it!

Consequently, he received a prescription for HRT for the rest of his life. So almost certainly he was monitored daily by his physician to see that his test/epi-test values were always close to the legal max. And assuming they are not tested minutes before a race, then a shot of test suspension would raise it even higher for a few hours, and no evidence to be found after the finish, when the levels were back down to a legal (but still very high) 6:1 ratio.
Almost makes me wish I had his "problem".

Is this what a man's supposed to look like? I see these wankers everywhere with their i-pods strapped to their 10 inch arm checking their heart-rate monitors to see if they're in that "cardio zone". And it's not like they have fit looking physiques. They're bony and flabby! Every year they just get bonnier and flabbier. If you're doing all that cardio you'd think they'd be cut but no. No physical presence - nothing to show for their efforts.
I'd rather be able to squat a car and die before 60 then live to 100 being weak, defenceless, and completely lacking a physical presence.
