well I hang out at this board quite a bit if that answers your question
The documentary is kind of interesting. It's all about Muscle Dysmorphia and the lengths bodybuilders go to to get huge.
-
Yes, lots of it. If steroids caused arms like that we would see way more freaks like him. He is a liar and makes bodybuilding look bad. I have no qualms at all talking to him about this in person at the Arnold expo next year. Both Valentino and Michalik talked a load on that show. Both made bodybuilding look bad and used it as a scapegoat for their own stupidity and poor decision making abilities. Michalik was clinically insane back in the day just so you know! Word of advice: don't listen to insane people!
Mick Hart did a good job in that show though. He was pretty real.
...so this show has been around for a while then?
-
That documentary made bodybuilders look very bad and TLC just keeps running it and running it....
-
The show totally implies that this guy built the world's biggest arms by sticking himself with steroids with no mention at all of any oil.

Oil, implants.... who the hell knows.
-
Interesting...according to Greg, every bodybuilder is a steroid dealer. This guy must not have too many friends.

can't quite read that image of a post. What does it say in a nutshell?

Ditto.

you have to click on the image

So, his arms were huge from scar tissue built up from repeated injections of steroids into his biceps...lol. No wonder most bodybuilders have huge asses. And I thought it was the squats.

It's just an example of groupthink on mayhem. John Romano also didn't say anything negative about Gregg in his column about the TV show. It shows that even people who are generally rational and real can act differently depending on the circumstance.
The groupthink on mayhem is kind of scary. It affects even the best critical thinkers on that board (based on their posts on other boards). And hell, what choice do they have? You either kiss ass or get banned over there. No wonder Ron made such a ludicrous remark about Gregg (that and bias because GV is a coworker).
That comment by Ron Harris honestly makes him look like one of two things:
1) A big fcuking liar.
2) A real dumb motherfcuker who buys into anything.
Wonder how Ron Harris feels about Valvolino pimping Synthol through his website.
Oh, that's right. It says "Only for external use" on the bottle - Maybe Ron Harris believes that too. ::)
Ron Harris' credibility takes a lethal blow with shyte like this.
I thought he was a pretty good journalist. But guy has no integrity.

The documentary was ridiculous. The guy is a fool who never amounted to anything especially in bbdg. So instead he tries to make a quick buck by talking about steriodd use in bbdg and so forth. He is a hypocrite and a jackass. I'm honestly surprised that knowone kicked his head in yet.

recent pic of greg valentino, his arms are still good size.
-
Anyone notice his bicep flopping over? They cut away real quick but if pay close attention you can see it literally flop over like a cartoon character.

Kiwihole is a dead ringer for Greg Valentino.

Greg is a piece of rotten pork chop who should be dispose of

the thing about this show that pissed me off the most was the segment at the end with the 15yr old boy watching the valentino video with his mother, and his mother saying to the lad 'is this what you want to end up like?'
As if looking like valentino is an inevitable conclussion to anybody that lifts weights. The show was a fucking joke, totaly subjective and only aired to make BB look retarted. >:(

i've seen the show three times...and if anyone believes you can get ridiculous arms like his from just shooting 'roids is a plain fool...it's obvious he did something else to look that frigging stupid..not to mention that the guy comes off as a stone cold idiot on the show. i didn't know much about michalik but it did look like he held a lot of bitterness towards bodybuilding--but valentino personified the nickname ''meatheads''.
-
just another 'fictitious' tv program......which makes for good tv.
it's nothing more than that folks.
I can't imagine if they actually did a documentary if it would sell more episodes or get more air time.
Shit like this (throw in some lies & exaggerations) makes people grossed out.
That sells....plain & simple.

I got a weird vibe from Michalik, at first i didn't even see that it was steve. i just thought it was some guy that hates people who use steriods.

YOu just blew my mind. That's exaclty what I was about to say: they both are borderline if not insane and make the sport look bad to paliate from their own failure/mental disease. Michalik was eating monkey brains to get the pituitary hormones, was taking 1lb of vitamins a day. Blame that on the gear. Not even getting into Valentino's case.

For the sake of bodybuilding, next time I see him (should be at the Olympia) I'm gonna humilate him in public. If he fights back, I'll punch his tumors out untils he drops.
Seriously, I remember a couple of years ago when he was running around at a pro show trying to compare his arms with pros... they looked at him like an idiot until Don Box told him to "buzz off, fool". He turned red and started bragging about his supposely huge dick instead.

i hate the media!!!!!!!!!
all it would take is a tiny bit of research on google for fucksakes to realize the role synthol has played in this whole fucking debacle
