Title: Biggest in the world?
Post by: BayGBM on August 28, 2006, 03:22:52 PM
At 6'3" and 320-340lbs, Muscletech is touting Scott Milne as the biggest bodybuilder in the world.  Is this true?  Is anyone bigger?  The last guy who made this claim didn’t turn out so good.   :-\

Milne & Kovacs below.

Sorry, but that guy looks like crap. I don't care how "big" he is.

Looks like a bus hit him in the Abs.  Kovacs' Syndrome Stage IV and I don't think he's gonna pull through.  :D

Team MuscleTech scientists are very excited to be helping Scott become the world's most massive muscular man and have already begun testing some secret new prototype products on him! Good luck, Scott!
I think I prefer AnimalPak's angle.

He's 6'3, competes at 330. According to a BMI calculator, that's the same as competing at 5'10 287.

Edit: Muscletech site doesn't say he competes at 330, just  "Weight: 320 to 340 lbs." Who knows if he even competes still.

It's very unlikely he went from that to the biggest bodybuilder in the world in two years.

Looks like he's spent too much time in the oven.

Why?  Almost every guy blows up off season?

Sure, he’s big, maybe even the biggest off season measurements but is that an accomplishment worth bragging about if one can’t get in shape and win a show come contest time?  ???

Muscletech has been touting Scott Milne since 1997, i remember reading a thing they did on him in Musclemag, they claimed 725lb. squats for 6 reps, the same on deadlifts and 500lb. benches for reps ::) he's a big dude but i don't know about the numbers, they've been touting that guy for almost ten years.

Has he come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in a contest in all that time?  ???

i don't think so, not in a major contest anyway, he's a big strong dude kind of like Kovacs but Muscletech always hypes these big Canadian dudes, he was in a really bad car accident awhile back wasn't he?

What a bunch of geekos... "secret new prototype" Am I supposed to get excited? This is ridiculous. Typical MuscleTech "driven toward teenagers / low IQ people" kinda campaign....

Milne is all hype. Saw him at Toronto pro and he looked like crap. One of the worst backs I've ever seen. Needs another 30-40 lbs of muscle cause he's so tall.

Well, he is pretty cute and I do like chopping down big trees.   ;D
But it used to be that endorsements went to to people who actually won.   Oh, well, it's not as if I was gonna buy Muscletech's products. Scott's making a living... good for him!  :)

Kovacs is a beast, even though most of that lies in his structure being huge and not so much his muscularity.  He is 400 with abs most of the year.

Yeah, abs that stick out twice as far as his chest.....
