Agreed, Rusty should have placed higher. No problem with Bob winning.

Yeah, I can give you a clue....

Pics get posted of progress, getbig peanut gallery talks shit about how I'll "never make it"..."won't be in shape", etc.

Gallery starts to reverse themselves the closer the show gets...

After show is won...gallery begins "conspiracy" theories, because  (as usual) they can't bear, or admit that they were dead wrong.

Same thing with King...

After last week, everyone wrote him off..."he'll never make it"..."no way can he lose the waist that quick"..."I don't care what he does...he's done", etc.

Tune started to change when Issac posted pics...

100% improvement, 4th place, Olympia Q...and the peanut Gallery are in full force with the conspiracies...

Can't say I'm shocked....

Chick's victory was not really hard to accept.  It was Rusty coming in 7th that was absurd.
Chickie boy looked pretty good but Rusty not getting a comparison was our main gripe about that one...

I can't see why so many think that Bob didn't deserve the Masters win. Rusty looked good but not as good condition,  Pavol looked great but Bob just seemed to edge him out too.  It was close but Bob just had the best overall physique.

muscletech was the #2 sponsor at tonight's show.  I don't know if it had anything to do with their guys getting 3 of top 4, and king getting a close call over wolf.  but just stating facts, not flaming.

No need to take offense, my brother...

The peanut gallery is aimed to a specific group of idiots...they  know full well who they are.

I don't expect anyone to kiss my ass...just to call it square and give credit where it's due...not backtrack when they've clearly been in the wrong and show their ignorance to the sport.

Actually, you said it was anyone who doesn't shop at Bbing.com or attend shows.  That's a pretty big group.  I can pull up your quotes if you'd like.

Well I am no "pro" about judging like you Bob, but I do believe you won the masters...But the Kamali placement is a joke and I would like pics at every angle to make me say I am wrong....And I am one to admit I am wrong when I am within a factual reason....Please provide this and I am happy to say I was wrong....(By the way you do talk down to us regardless if we are wrong or not, only if we disagree with you)

King may not have the best structure, but neither does Dennis...

Being there is a different story....pics are deceiving, and rarely tell the whole story....video would be a better way to see the guys pose, and muscle in motion.

Dennis is very impressive in a few poses, and gets exposed in others...another thing King had going for him, was the huge difference from last week...could'nt have hurt with some of the same judges in attendance.

I'm not saying ing "destoyed" Dennis by any means...but I can see where he beat him.

It is true that judges reward competitors that make the necessary changes in their physiques from show to show.  It was damn close between King and Dennis in Montreal but I gotta go with Dennis because he was on in Europa and didn't need those drastic changes that King needed.

The names are on the scoresheets, and are available to the competitors.

What's the big deal about knowing the names of the judges??

Will it keep them "honest"? Shame them into scoring fairly?

One thing to keep in mind is that in pro boxing where the judges are known to all, there is a contraversial decision/ split decision on nearly every fight card.

I want to see the video. King looks to be better than wolf in the front lat spread. But wolf looks to be better than king in  all the other pictures. He is also better conditioned than king.

Thanks Bob I didn't know the judges put their name on scoresheets. As competitors rep do they the promoters give you a list of judges so you know they the judges are Financial members and qualified to judge in Pro shows.

It's a good thing they don't do this in other sports.
"Kobe, you're shooting a lot better today than last week.  We're going to just add ten points to your team's score" or "Peyton, you're throwing the ball terrible today.  We're just going to add 21 points to the other teams score".

Bob's one positive attribute seems to be loyalty.  Unfortunately, he seems to pursue it to the detriment of truth, judgement, and common sense.

Who needs pesky facts?  Who needs reality? All Bob needs to know is whether he's on your "team" or not.  ::)

It doesn't really matter, MK...because judges who dissent from the majority too often are removed from the panel.  The 'qualifications' to become a judge require one to be a conformist.

lol...monster not knowing the difference between a sport where points are scored, and a sport where opinion is used as the scoring system...

It's called human nature, and it comes into play in the scoring of BB shows, along with showmanship, displaying the physique, ability to hide weaknesses and ability to show strengths...

Of course, you know all of this given your vast experience in bodybuilding...and your ability to post naked pictures of yourself at will for all the men on a BB site to see...

Putz.......

I talk about the importance of consistent judging standards and you call me a putz?

I make the point (which many may agre with) that the show should be won by the best man onstage that day, not the one who looked the worst last week but looks better today.

You're a real class act, chic.  I talk issues, and you call names.

Well...they're *Supposed* to.

We al know the posing round judging is a joke...what they're REALLY doing, is re-judging the physiques based on what they look like at night.

I think the whole judging system sucks and should be changed...as I've been trying to do.

Unfortunately, it's the athletes themselves that want the "posing round" left as is...even though they know they aren't really geting judged on it...go figure.

100% improvement on conditioning FOR KING, yes, total improvement? no. Of course people gave him his props until like they say "step on stage against others". King stepped on stage, fans had something to compare him with, and his flaws hung out.

The only place where King beat Wolf is the side hamstring shot. Wolf hands King his a$$ everywhere else. He more complete, more pleasing, more balanced, better muscle shapes, better calves, better arms. King did improve his condition dramatically from last week (props to Disgusted --Jim Mangone), I'll give him that but he got a HUGE gift.

Someone like myself who cares a less about Sherri....I would still give him props where they're do.  He did make an improvement from the previous week....

but NOT the placing he got.

BodyBuilding needs controversy to make it interesting & giving Kamali a gift creates alot of controversy.
