Title: Dexter Jackson Huge Announcement last year?
Post by: mac7000 on September 05, 2006, 11:50:43 PM
I dont know if this has already been brought up, but about a year ago Dexter was talking about this huge announcement he was going to make at the Olympia. Did he ever announce anything? or was he just pushing products for Metrex.

It was a computer program for tracking your pre-contest dieting. Or something very similar. A few guys on Mayhem kept going on and on about how great it is.

Mcneal had presented a software program to MetRx and basically try to sell it as a "package" deal with Dexter Jackson coming on board. MetRx realized the software program wasn't for them. McNeal has been trying to a sell a software program for years...nothing revolutionary if it's been around for years.

Mcneal is the one with the program and the idea was hoping the dexters name could push the product out but Metrx bailed on him before it ever got off the ground.

Truth be told Dexter could not put together any kind of buisness deal on his own.  He lives off the endorsements at the moment and when not in the gym lives gangsta.  More power to him.... but in the end he could very well turn out the way his buddies flex and cormier have in terms of numbers in the bank

-keep it real-

 Oh I remember this...

Dexter kept hyping it up like our lives as we know it will change and how bodybuildings' world will implode from the inside and all the planets. moons and stars will be aligned and there would be world peace and an end to starvation...turned out to be some gay cheesy software program to track heart rate and calories burned...basically the same thing a Polar Heart Rate Monitor does...

It was stupid. I hate it in MD when Dexter gets questions about cardio/diet/fat loss plans when the truth is...he doesnt do any. It's just idosyncratic and absurd...

If you're going to use big words you should know how to spell them - idiosyncratic
