Title: What is Flex magazine really saying here?
Post by: mrsirjojo on September 12, 2006, 08:17:34 AM
Check out the opening line from Flex's article "2006 MUSCLE FANTASY LEAGUE" at www.flexonline.com:

"The Mr. Olympia doesn’t qualify for the sports books in Vegas, being a judged competition and all, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get in on some action and pick the winners for prizes and bragging rights."

Isn't boxing one of the biggest sports in the betting world? Is it really because it's a judged competition that Vegas, which hosts the Olympia, doesn't take bets?

Anyone know if, as silly as this sounds, the Miss America has vegas odds upon which you bet?

Seems in Vegas you can bet on about anything.

On the miss America pageant

http://gamblingmagazine.com/articles/40/40-243.htm

"Experts say there isn't enough interest in who wins the crown to attract high-stakes gamblers. Besides, it would be near-impossible to handicap the field, they say."

When it comes to Miss America pagents...it's real easy. Bet on the tard to win...y-you know...the tard who is deaf and talks funny and has a lifelong goal to align the planets and bring world peace and end starvation or the negroe woman.

So basically its 50/50 odds...the token negroe woman and/or the tard.

YESyes impediments are a big plus in those dog and pony shows. I wonder how many rich arabs are in the audience bidding on those sluts.

But only a DAM FOOL would bet anything on this contest, or any BB contest for that matter!!

Not if that "fool" was an insider. A BB show is way too easy to fix. And as for pageants, they know who to keep around to keep viewership going. Nielsen ratings matter to the minute.

Only a damn fool wouldn't make a bet on the O if they could.

EVERYONE knows that Ronnie will win.

Mostly because Chick and King won't be competing. ::)
