First of all WHY black smith?! AlHaddad by arabic means Black smith and my grand grand father use to do that so i thought it will be kinda cool nick name to use!
these photos been taken couple of days ago and i was just arrived from the long hours trip, with no diet meals on board of BA, couldnt sleep well and still :-\
NOW i look much fuller and tighter and harder and by the time i cut the water and load the carb things will be much better....
i think i am between 202-204 i guess the max i will be with loading is 206 pounds which is great to me coz last year i was 193-194 pounds, by next year my Aim is 210-212 and i will not cross that for good.
so lets see whats going on on the 16th and i will fight for the top places....

Its fine to say all that, because Sami is a quality BB'er. But if the IFBB wanted in their ranks Sami, surely they would have granted a pro card already, they ultimately have the discretion to grant pro status to whoever they want.
But the fact is, its the PDI who saw Sami's potential not IFBB. So, I don't think Sami believes the PDI is a "waste" of time.

I wouldn't be too sure about that if I were you... Keep in mind that Demilia if he only knows to do one single thing its to put on a BB show. He's a smart guy, he wouldn't knowingly put on one show just for the fun of it... give it a chance, you may be surprised.

Sami is a quality bodybuilder and his physique speaks for itself. The question remains how many "pro" shows will he be able to make money at, how many guest posings will he get and who will sponsor a guy who competes yet gets no exposure in any of the magazines?
That's my point of it being a "waste".

Around 10...And by the way I am not screaming "all drugs" or any of that bullshit, cause I too use...Although, I do not use a bunch of growth and insulin...I respect the PDI competators because they are what bodybuilding will be in another few years...Argue with me what you want, but bodybuilding is changing into an 90's look again....

I was not making a hate comment about Freeman please understand...But the judging is on overall perfection of the physique and the man is amazing, but has a brutal and noticable flaw.....

Look I am not downing the man...He really does have a physiques that should be respected on conditioning alone...He has flaws though, but sadly enough his flaws are better than the world's best at the Olympia and he has my vote to take the top 6.....

Point is all physiques carry flaws (some major, some not to noticable).. The PDI despite flaws will be bringing their

From what I recall, Lee Priest was "given" a pro card by (I think) Jim Manion prior to his Niagra Falls debut. Lee didn't "automatically" qualify when he won the Aust Nationals due to his age....

Dude, as my post(s) states he deserved it. I agree he looked awesome. Its just that when he won the nationals (due to his AGE), he wasn't automatically given a pro card.. He only got it just before (probably only days) before his debut at the Niagra Falls show, therfore he got it at the IFBB's discretion..

He'll get the exposure in MD. There are other mags out there not just M&F and FLEX. Those two mags suck now and won't be worth much soon.

Yep, and the IFBB will tyr to go after these guys now just to get back at Wayne. The IFBB picks and chooses who they want as pros. It's pretty evident. And with guys like Sami coming to America now and showing everyone that he and others have the bodies to be pros, all of sudden the IFBB is going to try to get them to cross-over just like Vinny. All these years the IFBB has ignore Vinny. He signs with the PDI and all of a sudden they are interested. Odd ain't it. CHic and Sean ragging on the PDI guys but now see that some of them could very easily compete in the IFBB. SO all of a sudden they are recruiting.

Guys NO one can underestimate LEE, He is and Still the BEST no Doubt and with out him in the show for sure i will not have all the motivation to bring the best shape ever i can coz we all going to stand next to super Hero in bodybuilding and Car Racing, am personal i love speedy cars and i want to ask LEE what dose he think of DODGE-CHARGER SRT? am planing to buy it ;)
IFBB is a long story and i am not kind of a person who love Bit--g around when i leave some thing behind but i didnt get what i want to get from IFBB and others got!!!
regarding the PRO CARD, very simple (MUSTAFA HASSANIN+MOHD ANOUTI+GUNTER) they got the pro card given but not earning it! i am not sure about the last guy but Mustafa told me personally when i met him ( COME ON SAMI U SHOULD BE A PRO) just write a latter and ask Ur federation to contact the main IFBB..!! and he said thats what i did, the same with ANOUTI and i am not against these guys, they are my friends and i am happy to see them having the pro card BUT just to clear some points for the people who said YOU HAVE TO EARN IT ::) about Gunter i wish some one refresh my memory and tell me how did he earned it ;) coz i was mixed up with him and some one els, if he really earned it then HE didnt earn taking part in his first MR.O which he was pushed and didnt qualify for it by any show!! so forgive me if i am mistaken about Gunter :-*
The bad news is i got i am with a flu since last night and wish to get better BUT no matter what happens i will stand on the stage and this reason will no stop me from keeping my word for the PDI
i am afraid to take any Med. and start to hold water or get worse at this time, ANY advice ???
got to go to bed again ;) cant sleep 3 hrs in a row :'( cant wait to go HOME and eat BigMac and sleep like a KING ohhh i mean like a BLAK SMITH ;D

I believe the contention that Lee received his pro card without technically qualifying is true.
This might also be true for federov. Certainly I don't recall him having the credentials when he did the russia pro and some people questioning it.
Irregardless of credentials there will be rule bending

Thing is, you can't allow every national federation to grant a pro card for the overall winner each year around the world.
The quality isn't deep enough.
In Russia, the talent pool seems to be growing, and they will probably get to grant at least one pro card every year. But in smaller (bodybuilding-wise) countries like Australia, the Scandinavian countries, Italy, Spain, et al, you can't hand out pro cards every year.
IMO, many of these countries should be allowed to hand out one pro card, and the NPC Nationals should only have two cards to give out.
It would balance the competition somewhat.
Because today, there are a lot of shitty US third-tier pros allowed to win their pro cards, guys like Kamali.
If you look at the national level in the Mediterranean area, in Germany, in South East Asia, there are tons of BB's that are more deserving of pro cards than Kamali.
I think it's a problem of too many pro cards being given out in the US, more than anything.
Look at Silvio Samuel and Dennis Wolf - they kicked ass in their first outings as Pro BB's.
I'm sure Marco Chacon will do too, unless he will be overlooked.

question for ya lift. What did Brian Buchanan do to get pro status? Ed Kawak? Chris Clairemont? For that matter what did Vic Richards do to get his card. Don't say they don't give gifts cause they have for years. They do what they want. Why didn't Jeff King get a card if the above mentioned guys did? Cause the IFBB didn't want him to, no other reason. There are more examples I could go through..the IFBB does what it wants, when it wants and helps who it wants.

just to prove that the IFBB can do whatever it wants. How did Lee Priest get his pro card? Lee won the Mr. Australia like 3 times in a row and was denied his pro card by the officials over there. just to prove that the IFBB can do whatever it wants. How did Lee Priest get his pro card? Lee won the Mr. Australia like 3 times in a row and was denied his pro card by the officials over there. I'm many of these cases, the guys have qualified by OUR standards...it's THEIR affiliate thats fucked up, and doesn't want them to be granted pro status.
The main point was that, anyone competing that wants to be in the IFBB must meet a standard that has been set...winning a National champuionship, world championship, etc.....not placing 7th in a local show, or failing to make the cut at the USA's, etc.

Exactly; makes a sham of the US Pros who had to qualify the legit way at the USAs/Natinals/North America.
Do remember that the US guys have alot of opportunity to win a card, multiple times per year.
For many in the world they have only the Worlds to win a card, which Americans are also eligible to win as well.

Sami, you look incredible. Very nice classical taper, lines, and muscularity.
I fear that in the IFBB, Sami may not be rewarded well for the excellent physique he has already and would be encouraged to put on a good bit more mass which may ruin his lines and fantastic shape. Sure, adding a few more lbs could add to his physique but too much is not good, which happens to many trying to chase the mass monsters, that are often rewarded in the IFBB these days.
It is encouraging that Phil Heath has done well so far in the IFBB...another athlete w/ unbelievable shape and structure.

Correct, Sami has not stood next to the IFBB pros, who are the best in the land...but in the last 10 yrs we have seen the IFBB judges reward bigger and not always better physiques, especially at the larger shows. Fantastic BBers like David Henry, Richard Jones, Jaroslav, and Ronnie Rockel are placed lower at the big shows. I cannot be sure of the validity of my opinion but I think there is enough historical judging evidence to support it as a reasonable possibility. As I said, we may be on the verge of some change w/ Ronnie retiring soon and guys like Heath winning earlier in the year. I hope so.
Whether its the IFBB, PDI or all (the athletes and fans are important to me not so much the organization)...many of us would like to see more classical physiques being rewarded. Lots of us don't like the distended guts, blurring of clean muscle separation, excessive supps needed to maintain the mass the judges are looking for and the increased health issues for the athletes. I'd be happy to respectfully debate that statement as I am not only a decent competitor but also med. professional.

If things are so fucked up where Sami is from then the IFBB needs to take a look at it.
It still does not justify giving Kawak, Clairmont and the others pro cards, they were NABBA, WABBA guys...as far as I know they didn't do a thing to qualify for IFBB competitions.

there's others aside from kawak, clairemont etc. The IFBB has continually done things to suite thier own benefit which is not excactly wrong. What is wrong is changing the standard to only apply at certain times. Bertil Fox, Sergio and Tony Pearson did the Mr. Olympus back in the late 70's...what kinda fine did they ahve to pay to compete in the IFBB again? Compare that to the fines the WBF guys had to pay. The precedent was already set that they should not have had to pay a dime but because they pissed of Joe and Ben they payed out the ass to compete again.

Lee stated that they wouldn't give him his pro card becuase he was too young.
When he arrived in the States, they gave him a pro card because of his past victories.

The Australian President of Ifbb would have never given Lee a Pro card as he once dumped Lee at an airport in Polland because he failed a drug test and hit him up for $5000 costs.A real nice guy.Not.

Ah, you forgot other qualifications. How about willing to do anything and everything the IFBB says to do without getting paid. And also having your sponsor sponsor a show you are in and pay a little extra to get those needed votes to place high enough to quailfy for a card.
