Bravo! *applause*  That was terrific!  Wish I could shake that guy's hand.  I hope the crook ends up on death row (even though California really doesn't execute anyone).

its because we have it all,i have been all over the world and i have no intentions of leaving

p.s ask any Texan were would they move if they could and they will tell you Australia because its just like Texas but with bigger trees and the beaches have bigger waves

Yeah, Buddy!!!! And that's EXACTLY the mentality there too.  I loved how patriotic Texans are towards their state.  My wife and I were talking about that the other day.

I lived there for a few years.  Nice people.  I didn't like the geography.  I have to be near water . . . and lakes don't count.   :)

you do know there is a coast, i have lived in Texas all my life on the beach i have to drive 4-5 hours to see desert

Dude.  It's the Gulf of Mexico.  I've seen it.  There are also tons of lakes, but as I learned after about a year of visiting about ten different lakes, if you've seen one Texas lake, you've seen them all.   :)  It's very hard for a beach bum to adapt to lakes.  They look like giant swamps.   :) 

If I decided to live in Texas (like my sister), it wouldn't be for the lakes or ocean.  It's a great state.
