Title: Force feeding
Post by: Stavios on September 17, 2006, 10:38:27 AM
Ok guys, just for the hell of it, today I start to force feed myself.

I still keep my carbs low: about a cup of potatoes for each meal

but I'll try to eat twice the protein I usually eat per meal

so that way I'll see for myself if it does something or not

Note for Adonis: I won't include ice cream of any type in my diet  ;D

It would be wise to follow this through for at least 2 weeks and take accurate measurements.

lets see, it's the 17th

I'll have my bf % checked october 4th

but there won't be major change in 2 weeks so I'll follow this for a month and a half straight and if I had good results I'll continu to do it

You should start a journal and write down every single calorie you injest throught the day and what your activities would be. This way we could keep closer track of the changes and make a more accurate reading of the positive or negative effects of a high protein diet. Post a before and after picture too.

Ok I'll try to note everything if I have the time

but no pictures  ;D

no flame, but in my opinion experience, and im sure many will agree with me, if ure not on gear, with what your going to, you'll get a bit stronger - thats if u are lukcily and able to digest the extra calories, but u will get fatter.

I think its best not to get fat, and make small constant gains.

Adonis is simply wrong about naturals not being able to assimilate large amounts of protein. Most of the great bodybuilders and strongmen from the pre-steroid era ate a ton of protein. I actually have a tendency to lose weight when going on a high protein diet. It's the carbs that make most people fat.

Stavios tell us about how you feel also, I've tried over eating protein also and I had a bad time doing it. Mad gassy, and constipated, maybe if I supplemented with enzymes or beano or something it would've been better. Let us know!

If by "fatness and mediocrity" you mean having 17.5 arms at 230 lb bodyweight after years of juicing, then no, I don't think he will have any trouble surpassing you. ::)

I over eat or '' Protein load" once every other week. My friends and I go to a Brazilian BBQ buffet and mow down as much as we possibly can. It feels great and is alot of fun.

Stavios,

You are fucked.

Call me in a few months when you want to get serious.

I am not going to tell you to stop,as I want you to see the failure firsthand.

But call on me when you want to get your self straightened out.

i don't consider 225 for  some reps on shoulder presses to be a good lift and i would look like a fool video taping such mediocre lifting, if it was 315 for 8 then maybe i would video it.

as far as i know carbs and protein have the same amount of calrioes gram for gram, but protein wont make you fat like carbs because it is not the bodies first choice for energy and has to convert the energy from protein into glucose through a process called gluconeogenisis (i think this is right) and this takes the body more effort i.e using more energy in the energy conversion so in theroy you should be able to ingest more protein and not worry to much about fat accumulation if carbs are low enough.
