Are there any pics fom him, did he really get 18th?
-
It strange that we didn't get any night before hotel room shots...With all the money the "Rhino" has, i would take a guess that he probably hired a professional photographer...It was his first pro show so if not many pictures show up, something has to be going on...IF your gonna make up shirts and what not to sell on your website, my guess is your gonna get a ton of photos of your first show to put on on your site...At least common sense tells you that...
Anyway Congrats Rhino for getting up there and giving it all you had...

Did Jack London ever try competing in NPC, and if so, what is his record there?

Hedge what would 18th at the first PDI show translate if he was to do the IFBB Nationals or USA's? I'm thinking close to dead last...

Jack just called me about an hour ago. He wanted to say thank for my support and others too. On weekends he is not on the computer. I think he has said this before. He did feel bad about his placing but said the top 5 guys were really really good. He came in at 235, so a bit leaner than I think he wanted. I am sure there will be pics up tommorrow. He may wait till next year to put on some weight and come in bigger. He is a good guy and maybe caught up in the excitement of the show. You guys bash him but BB is just a hobby and he does what he can when he can. He definitely stirred up things and from what I have read was a crowd favorite. Good job Jack, just come back next time even better.

I don't care if he's a good guy, an asshole, a homo...whatever. As a "professional" BBer he's a joke, he should really hang it up.

If your an IFBB national competitier in your mid 40s and you don't place anywhere near the top 15, you move on and stop doing more damage to your body....But I guess if your a PDI "Pro" and don't place any where the top 15, you go back to the drawing board and put on more size :-\ WhY?

In all fairness, you wouldn't see a Lee Priest onstage at the IFBB Nationals or USAs :)
Whenever he placed, he stood onstage with Priest.

you mean he was compared to Priest???So take Priest out of the equation and that puts Rhino at 17th... :-\
im not trying to Bash the Rhino, just trying to get some prespective on the thing...

Sometimes striving to have the best body to your own standards is what drives you to keep going. Rhino doesn't need to explain to anybody what he is doing to his body. To some people eating pizza all day is something they can't give up. This can lead you to heart disease, gastrointestinal problems, and many other ailments. Rhino likes to bodybuild......so thats his choice.

To prove my physiological fact.....why weigh 300lbs in the offseason if you're going to look like soft 235 on stage. When will people (ALL PEOPLE INCLUDING PRO'S) get it through their thick agromegly skulls that it's USELESS to gain 40 50 or 60lbs in the offseason to come in a few pounds more or stay the same show after show......will one of you "gurus" please explain this to me, because after 30 + years it still doesn't make sense......unless your on a ton of shit ALL YEAR LONG!

Here's Jack London's own take on the issue, discussing the physique of Mindspin:
well, thats cool. I am not putting him down, his body is different than mine, actually, he and I are cool, we kid each other alot.
My physique was actually more like his when I was around 205. But when you get bigger, upwards to 275-300, you just lose that. But actually, that was my goal-extreme mass.
I do agree that most would rather look like mindspin, I just do what I want, for me. seriously.
you seem cool though, you should be on the team...team Rhino.
