If he comes in looking like he did in the pics I saw but just a little leaner he will do great.

Flex, you are a former competitor who has battled similar issues.  I think your prediction would be truer than anything the peanut gallery can do.

What is your prediction?  Will he dry out?

if it was a wheelchair event, he would win the whole thing...But since he has to stand up and show his legs, i have him somewhere in the middle/end...

He's actually looking not bad - very full back and dry up top - would be good to see some leg shots though.

Honestly, i hope that he does well. But why take the risk after all the shit he's been through in the past/currently?

He'd do well by staying home or off the stage.
Even healthy, he would have a tough time making a comeback at his age.
That being said, out of the Top 10 somewhere, which is sad because he wont like the way that feels when the dust settles. :-\

This is like the crocadile hunter coming back to life
and jumping back in the water with the stingray.
DL should be grateful as hell for his transplant and
shouldnt be competing again professionally anywayz..

I wish him the best.  met him when I lived in Alexandria va, he was a super nice guy.
We all know how difficult legs are to grow, to they are probably lagging behind.  he never had the greatest sweep anyways to begin with.

Hey Flex,

If you so elected, what kind of condition do you think you could get back to again? Could you get big/dry enough to make it worthwhile?

I keep wondering the same thing.  If it's one time to prove a point AND HE'S CLEAN, I'd understand...
But he looks really good, too good, if you get my meaning.  He's not in the hunt so I hope he hasn't done anything stupid...

In a way, I respect that he's doing what he loves to do, and since we're all going to die someday, at least he's doing what he's passionate about.

On the other hand, I think he's showing a lot of disrespect to those around him who have helped him recover from what was and is a serious illness.  I'm sure his family and friends want Don to be around as long as possible, but they also want him to be happy.

So in the end, his 'selfishness' wins out.  But if he's being selfish, than how is anybody in the world who does something dangerous for their own desires any better or worse than Don?

I think I'd do the same damn thing.  But if things go wrong, then pray that his family and friends will show him any more sympathy than they already have.
