How do you think DL will do next week?
Flex
-
don't know his legs looked pretty small compared to his upper body in the last pics we saw.... top 10 for sure but it's hard to tell
-
If he comes in looking like he did in the pics I saw but just a little leaner he will do great.
-
Flex, you are a former competitor who has battled similar issues. I think your prediction would be truer than anything the peanut gallery can do.
What is your prediction? Will he dry out?
-
What do you think of his decision to compete Flex?
-
Anyone have pics? DL looked crazy back in the day...

Don Long
ROCKING the high top fade like no other!!!
-
if it was a wheelchair event, he would win the whole thing...But since he has to stand up and show his legs, i have him somewhere in the middle/end...
-
He's actually looking not bad - very full back and dry up top - would be good to see some leg shots though.
-
hes looking pretty good.
-
Honestly, i hope that he does well. But why take the risk after all the shit he's been through in the past/currently?
-
He'd do well by staying home or off the stage.
Even healthy, he would have a tough time making a comeback at his age.
That being said, out of the Top 10 somewhere, which is sad because he wont like the way that feels when the dust settles. :-\
-
is he still going to be able to wear that arm-band thing on stage to cover up his scar from dialysis??
I have yet to see a recent pic where he doesnt have the arm-band on
-
He looks great. I wish him well!!

Sad, but true. Why tempt fate?

Sad, but true. Why tempt fate?
Regardless... any "not" wishing him "well" ??
-
He'll probably qualify cause no one is going to enter the Atlantic City Show...
-
Those arm's are huge,he's been out of the game long, hopefully his posing is not too rusty, top 10 sure why not,i hope he doen't make a desicion too compete for long and risk his health, but people sometime's regard their health as their own :-\

Flex
top 15. I doubt he'll make any impact
-
This is like the crocadile hunter coming back to life
and jumping back in the water with the stingray.
DL should be grateful as hell for his transplant and
shouldnt be competing again professionally anywayz..
my .2 can i get some change
-
Did'nt Mike Francois suffer from the same thing back in the day?
-
I wish him the best. met him when I lived in Alexandria va, he was a super nice guy.
We all know how difficult legs are to grow, to they are probably lagging behind. he never had the greatest sweep anyways to begin with.
-
Hopefully he'll place real bad.
Placing him high will only encourage him
-
Can anyone predict any Don Long horror stories?
I see blood streaming down his legs while in the middle of a most muscular.
-
Hey Flex,
If you so elected, what kind of condition do you think you could get back to again? Could you get big/dry enough to make it worthwhile?

that would be interesting...Since Flex has genetics that would make greek gods envious..... 8)
-
Agreed. If he could do it heatlthwise, it would be amazing to see him again. The sport desperately needs his physique.
-
I wish Don the best....he was awesome back in the day and looks fantastic today. I admire his determination, but question his health....I hope he's making the right choices.
-
One would have to ask , WHY ??? all things considered !!!

I keep wondering the same thing. If it's one time to prove a point AND HE'S CLEAN, I'd understand...
But he looks really good, too good, if you get my meaning. He's not in the hunt so I hope he hasn't done anything stupid...

Its probably a marketing ploy....Hopefully everything will turn out ok...
-

I have yet to see a recent pic where he doesnt have the arm-band on

Always the supporter, eh Shawn?

you are a man.

In a way, I respect that he's doing what he loves to do, and since we're all going to die someday, at least he's doing what he's passionate about.
On the other hand, I think he's showing a lot of disrespect to those around him who have helped him recover from what was and is a serious illness. I'm sure his family and friends want Don to be around as long as possible, but they also want him to be happy.
So in the end, his 'selfishness' wins out. But if he's being selfish, than how is anybody in the world who does something dangerous for their own desires any better or worse than Don?
I think I'd do the same damn thing. But if things go wrong, then pray that his family and friends will show him any more sympathy than they already have.

He looks great, amazing, i wonder how much more damage he is doing to his body, I guess he is the one that believes live fast die young, Flex when are u making a comeback?
