Too bad there's no pants round, where Gunter (and most tall bodybuilders) could really shine.
-
DJ looks better
-
where's the dwarfing? I don't see it ???
Taller, yes. Dwarfing? No. I think Dennis is thicker in that pic.
-
DJ looks better
nope sorry.
i hate how they do this, they have already locked jay at 2nd and probably will not give gunter or ruhl or freeman a chance to even stand next to him ::)
-
???
they are all too fat

The Recti splinting (tearing of the rectus ab wall as seen in james) is getting out of hand in todays BB. It happens to pregnant women and is even common to see in abusive amateurs today. That's one good thing I do like about Jay. it's disgusting and should be marked down...Even some figure girls are getting it....Years and years of gh causes many changes and people should actually know what they are doing before they do it instead of listening to the "guru" of the week on these boards...not to put down members just the guys that preach the guru stuuff without any real knowledge.

DJ looks better. This isn't a height contest. ;)

I always thought that was genetic
-
I really don't understand the post.....DJ has him....Sorry..... :o

The tendonus separations above and below and between are genetic, recti splinting definitly is not. It is well known to happen to a couple pregnant women and people that develop "basketball" guts (most commonly caused by insulin resistance). Very often these people (especially if sedentary) will develop umbillical hernias as a resuly of the weakening of the transverse and abdominal wall.

That is true! Gunter and Ruhl are completely different leagues, i think they could actually win the mr.O
-
last time i checked, bodybuilding contests aren't won on height
DJ is far thicker than lanky Gunter
-

what the hell are you talking about "recti splinting!!!??" dj simply has a wide linea alba. it is a strip of cartilage that runs the length of the abdominal wall!! its not any sort of tearing, nor is it caused by gh!! ill bet if you look at pix of dj when he first started bodybuilding, his abs looked exactly like that, with the wide split in the middle.

ok, being open minded as i am, im gonna give you the benefit on this until i look into it more, but it doesnt make sense to me. the width of that cartilaginous band seems fixed and genetically determined.

DJ's high lats look weird there. Gunter all the way
Stop already with the "high lats" bullshit. It is visible, but not bad enough to mark him down. And Gunter's mindsection doesn't look great at all. He looks soft.
-
GUnter is just the best looking bodybuilder up there, he's got the golden age aesthetics. Too bad there is nobody appreciates it anymore. The only bb up there I would want to look like if I had the choice.

Gunter and aesthetics should never be used in the same sentence. If you find him attractive, be honest with yourself. But don't blow smoke up our asses when you'd apparently rather be blowing Gunter.

Word, he's the only one looking like he's capable of doing athletic things.

maybe the others don't like sports?
-
Maybe the other ones are midgets?
-
I don't understand it. Gunter practically had the IFBB hand him the reigns and he completely screwed it up. He's gotten WORSE over the last few years. It's like he prepares for these contests for 4 weeks or something.

It's the rectus splitting (pulling apart) from the tendon (linea alna). I'll help you in your search, Instead of EVER depending on an internet bodybuilding board for answers look to the experts. Check out any good preganacy book, pregnant section in fitness related books, etc. I can't believe that in this day and age I'm actually the first person that has this knowledge...amazing guys get into the books and learn.

THE ONLY WAY HE DWARFS HIM IS IN HEIGHT!!!
-
You can't even see DJ's lats from the front. Overrated as hell.
