Willy, what are you looking at?  If he was a 28 year old you wouldn't had made that comment.  take the fact that you know his age away from it, that IS NOT a saggy physique at all.  The fact is that i know many many 28 year old guys shooting for national level contest that WISH they looked as "saggy" as Vince.  40 today means 30 to a healthy person.  before the gh/insulin era of the 90's this physique, if a tiny bit drier, would have been a top 2 physique....and that, my friend is a fact!

facts are facts

He looks great.....for ANY age. Any of you idiots who put him down are delusional. 99.9% of all National level elite bodybuilders will NEVER look that good.....regardless of age.

I don't fucking care about his age, he looked 2 times better only 6 months ago
he is off and that's the simple truth

EXACTLY!!!  Obviously you guys have never competed because if you did you would be not saying b.s. like "saggy", hahahah.  What's funny about that is that if you took THAT picture above to the nationals next month and asked EVERY SINGLE competitor if they wanted to have THAT physique for the show today, 99.9% would say YEEEEEEES....the .1 % that wouldn't is either dillusional or is the next complete freak in BB...like a Phil Heath.

that's not the point

of course his physique is worlds better than mine

i'm just saying, against the rest of the competition on stage, he looks a bit saggy

I respect your opinion, Willie.  I just know that my friend getting ready for nationals would love to look like that, plus another week or two conditioning and a bit drier.

I realize he doesn't have the physique that will garner top placings but he has the physique that most guys would love to have. Balance, aesthetics, shape and ample size. He is a great guy (from the times I've met him) and did himself proud as the oldest man in the line-up.

Yes, but Bob would still beat him in the Masters.

I think you're wrong. I think his physique is more competitive than people think. Plenty of mass, definitely aesthetics, and balance. He can compete in any lineup.

Vince looks every bit as good now as when he won the Nationals in 1988.  Amazing.  Does the guy age at all??

Also...  because he trains sensibly for the long haul, his physique doesn't have that "tore up" look exhibited by a large number of competitors at the recent Masters Worlds.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. What about this guy?

Believe it or not, ever ken jones (in the pix) looks better and definitly bigger than when he got his pro card at a bantamweight level.  i know lots of people hate on the guy, but it's true....it's damn true, lol.

How can any half way intelligent bodybuilding fan/bodybuilder/judge state that Vince looks saggy? The only thing that may be remotely "sagging" is the loose skin around his quads, due mainly to the atrophy of his vastes medial us. Nothing in his mid section is saggy. His arms/delts....in my opinion are top 3. He is simply a class act who also happens to be a genetic freak. Appreciate the positives.

Thanks for the post, Max!  I find Vince far more inspiring that Ronnie, Jay or Badell!  In 1994 when I won the South African Nationals (IFBB) .... Vince was my idol.  Today, onstage, he is STILL what I aspire to look like!

Vince is simply a CLASS act!!!!  He's what bodybuilding is all about!
