bb'er weight to height ratio
« on: November 15, 2006, 11:49:28 AM »
I know that it is all relative, and that weight does not speak for shape, definition, symmetry, conditiong etc. BUT all thigns being equal...

What are the weight to height ratios considered respectable fro a bodybuilder say at national level.

say for a 5ft8 bb'er at about 5%  or so.

And how much would you add per inch in height (OR take away)

weights for any categories that you know would be nice, just testing the waters, would be nice to know so i could kinda compare myself, ive never dieted down below about 10% bf.

Thanks guys

I thought it would be to see, so here's the top ten Olympia finishers, their height in inches, weight and then pounds per inch.

Contestant       Inches    Weight Lbs     Lbs Per Inch
1. J. Cutler          69         274                3.97
2. R. Coleman       71         297                4.18
3. V. Martinez       69         245                3.55
4. D. Jackson        66         230                3.48
5. M. Anthony       68         240                3.53
6. G. Badell           68         248                3.64
7. T. Freeman        74        290                 3.92
8. M. Ruhl             70         278                3.97
9. D. James           68         260                3.82
10. G. Schlerkamp   74        300                4.05

The average for all 10 finishers was 3.81lbs per square inch!
