actually I heard he was in a really bad motorcycle accident and called it a day competition wise.

Ernie did have a bad motorcycle crash which included skin grafts. I believe he is now getting into MMA although he still trains at temple and is still looking big.

I think he had that motorbike accident a short time before the Olympia 2004, the one he cracked Top 10.

I liked his physic a lot especialy sine he did not try to compete with the beef... he never took synthol who ever thinks so is an idiot.

He always said he didn't use Synthol. Technically he might be correct but he has definitely injected something into those buggers.

He tore his pec which was too visable for any reconciliation with his bodybuilding career. He has retired and is trying his hand at competitive MMA

They think that having muscles = good fighter.

Wrong in most cases, however, with Ernie Taylor, he is actually a good fighter and did karate before bodybuilding - his flexibility is good and he's certainly no slouch in the ring.

the tragedy is that he had a good physique aside from his triceps and later his quads and calves. tiny-ass waist, surprisingly wide back.

when he wrecked on his motorcycle he landed on one his triceps breaking his fall..it acted like an air bag according to the report.
