Totally agree.
Minimum wage is also being paid to retirees who have discovered, after working 30 or 40 years with a company.... their pensions don't support living the American way.  Or that the company has totally raped the pension fund and there is nothing left. So, having  The basics like food, healthcare, shelter, etc......is now a hardship. After a lifetime of being a contributing, law abiding, tax paying adult to society.
Never thinking that after all of the belief in the American way, The American way would abandon them.
They then have to take minimum wage jobs(walmart, Mcdonalds', etc) to supplement their income.

But I agree with you on libs listening to him. A woman at work used to listen to him, I for the life of me don't understand. I turned station when she wasn't there to NPR---now she is going to a exhibit at a museum that she about on NPR  . And she thanked me. Rush=brain drippling out of  ears.
