A bowl of hash 30 minutes before player intros and coin toss; that half hour window before the game's classic as well as when viewership jumps dramatically, accompanied by advertisements/attempts at unique commercials.
Individual player intros were one of the most memorable parts of the game: Dallas-Pittsburg '79, Oakland-Philly in '81-the Oakland offensive linemen were massive, you knew just from the intros they weren't losing. This was before the league had any anti-steroid policy or testing. The Patriots being introduced as a team rather than individuals against St. Louis..
Unfortunately it caused such an impact that the league changed the format. Now i don't think there's an option for individual intros, a big mistake.
Always fun to try to figure out which guys are on uppers during the pre-game closeups.
