Too much splitting hairs.  They both work hard, and would put most bodybuilders to shame.
At a time when there is much debate that no bodybuilders work hard, Warren and Coleman are both examples of people who aren't afraid of a little sweat.

I saw these claims on an Ironman Magazine for jonnie jackson:

200lbs incline Dumbbell press for 8reps

245lbs barbell curl for 8-10 reps

150lbs dumbbell Hammer curl for 8-10 reps

675lbs squats for 5 reps

405lbs seated military press for 8 reps

315lbs barbell rows for 10 reps

dumbbell kickbacks with a 100 pounder for 10 reps

I'd say pound for pound, he's stronger than Coleman

i have jonnies dvd, and he does 225 on military for a hard as hell 12. granted its four weeks out of a show, but 405 not in hell.

It really was crazy weight that close to a contest.

True dat.

Fucker is like one of "The Devil's Rejects" barreling straight towards that police barricade with their fuckin' S&Ws blazing, brother! "And this bird you cannot chayyy-eyaaaa-eyaaaa-eyaaaaange!"

Branch Warren is going to be a very sad figure in 10 years time.

i would go with warren on this one.there is a pic of him in the latest flex in which he is doing paralle bar dips with chains on his head all of 200lbs..this guy just trains like a maniac.he man handles the weight as if it was nothing.in BFTO 2005 he made the 150lb dumbell seem like they were 100lb dumbells.this guy is an animal.i waiting for his dvd to come out.

It's like asking who trains harder - you or Steve lol.

I agree that it's splitting hairs.  It would be like asking which woman below is more beautiful.  I don't think that question can be answered.

What are talking about!, the brunette no doubt about it ;D

I saw Coleman do prymid sets in squats up to 800lbs, 800lbs for 2 reps, that was after doing like 6-8 reps with 700 something. Until I see with my own eyes someone else lifting these kinds of weights, Coleman is strongest!! That shit is just Sick!

if you are talking about the redemption video, that was 735 for 4 reps right before 805 for 2....

Both train insanely hard.  The difference is Branch (with 2-3 partners) will be done in 45-50 minutes.  Ronnie, by himself, will take an hour and a half to two hours to train.  The only recovery time between sets is when the othr guys are going, for Branch.  Ronnie might have the heavier lifts, for 2-3 reps, but Branch doesn't exactly go light...and he doesn't go low rep...always at least 8-10, with partials, drops, negatives, etc...  Oh, and far as intensity, Ronnie can't come close to Branch.  While Ronnie is looking around, giving everyone a "yip yip" and a "yeah buddy", Branch doesn't talk, unless encouraging his partners (and then it is more like a growl).

Sadly, because he has nowhere else to go.  :(
