Does anybody honestly believe Arnold could bench 500?

i've saw a guy in my gym bench 405 for 2 a while back and he wasnt even that big, so do i think the Mr O with one of the best chests in the history of the sport cud bench 500?? well i am suprised it wasnt more!

Arnold had an amazing chest
There are BBs with smaller chests with a much bigger bench
He must have been able to lift big weights to look like that

i agree BBs arnt often as strong as they look, but i dont think 500 is that impressive for a guy who had his level of development

Im 32, and have trained half of my life. Im sure youre the "kid" compared to me. And AS isnt my hero in any sense of the word. If anything I insulted him with the super ego comment.

But you laugh at us that are SURE he could do it, and youre equally as SURE that he couldnt. Jackass. lol

This is hilarious all the kids on here who are "sure" he could do it when the reality is that it was probably somewhere around 450 give or take a few lb.

Dude, Arnold stated in his own book he benched 460 and he was into building muscles not lifting heavy in itself.

Re Read my post ,I agree with you ,but in his early years he did compete in power lifting and strong man comps,Iv just pulled out one of my early Arnold mags that was produced by M & F it complies alot of Arnolds writings,On his chest development it states 

At my best ,Ive done 500pound bench press

If you look at pics of a young arnold you will see he has spent alot of time on the big lifts,it was only after comming to the states that he concentrated on refinement
