Eh, Global Warming is nothing but Liberal Politics run amuck. The Earth's in one of her normal climate cycles. We're only talking about Global Warming so that Al Gore can make money off of it.

I just hope the heroic corporations can stop the evil al gore in time, before he melts all those glaciers and causes the frozen methane gas underwater to thaw which will further deteriorate our atmosphere and accelerate the process.

Okay, so let's get some answers here. Apparently, according to Gore they started monitoring CO2 since 1957. In that time that have past the Clean Air Act in the USA, the Kyoto Protocol and now a commitee dedicated to reducing Greenhouse gases.

So now that all this money has been spent, what are the results?

We still have a rise in temperatures and the air, which is now cleaner lets more sunlight and heat through that warms the Earth more.

Yeah, let's keep up with these programs and sooner or later the Earth will cool down. ::)

Hell let's let it get hotter. Women wear less clothing then. Eventually it will be an ice age again, then of course PETA will be pissed that we will use more animal carcasses to keep up warm. :-*

Um we're driving more and more, burning more coal. Since we're gonna run outta oil soon we might as well look for an alternative that'll burn cleaner, that way can still continue our lifestyles and find hier to oil, coal etc.

Umm, co2 and temp levels have gone up since the industrail revolution.. Isn't that a surprise to you? You can't just expect the clean air act to reduce air temperature, and when it doesn't, end up saying global warming is a sham, especially considering the fact that countries are burning more and more fossil fuels these days than in the past.

It's already spring here in Sweden. At least three weeks early. :-\

I'm all for nice weather, but I hope our politicians will find some guts to do something about this long-term.

Finally, it seems like the multinational companies have embraced this, making environmentally sound products.

Move inland 240. The thought that other countries and the US consumer gives a crap about THEIR consumption of fuel and CO2 emmissions falls on deaf ears. Humans are programmed to do what they need to do to survive regardless if it means stepping on toes.
We had a chance to really embrace Nuclear power here in the US, but the same enviromentalists that want to stop CO2 emmissions don't want nuclear power.
I say let it go and the strong will survive. That's life.
