I can usually avoid the sickness if I basically skip my pre-workout meal only on leg day. I've found if I eat a normal meal 1 to 2 hours before legs, I won't make it to the end. For me, I'll just have a shake, or just a yogurt 1.5 hours before the gym, and usually I'll have plenty of energy. It's like I can't digest food and work out hard at the same time. This is just food for thought! ha ha.
