I hope that muslim was fired.

Even if that pharmacist owned the pharmacy he/she should lose his license if he/she refuses to give out a pill due to religious beliefs. You are working for someone, especially when you have a state license.

but uf he owns that pharmacy, the state can't make him have every single drug on hand. Like when I got to missouri, I had to change BP medication because no one in the area carried it.

Hey that could be a good market niche - christian pharmacies - no need to carry birth control since all good christians are abstinent.  They could carry  pegboards (square pegs only) for those fathers that want to help their sons not to be gay - seriously though if there's no law that requires a pharmacy to carry birth control then I guess that would be another solution to the "problem"

that is just my view...I wouldn't go to a Muslim store and demand they carry bacon.

but I do think if you want it to be like that, you need to call it a christian drug store. People won't do that because it will lose buisness, but I say you can't have it both ways

I was only joking.

It might be hard to have a successful business based on stuff you won't sell.

I agree with you that if the owner of the pharmacy makes a decision not a carry a product (for whatever reason) then that's his business

My idea of a christian pharmacy - no condoms, birth control and lot's of wooden mallets and square pegs - was a joke
