Bodybuilding is driven by it's customer base. The number of people who are willing to pay to see the shows. Currently the number is relegated to mostly homosexuals and fan boys who act like homosexuals. I have nothing against homosexuals, I am simply pointing out my observations of how I see the people who attend most bodybuilding shows. If Bodybuilding as a form of entertainment is to have a future then it must find a new demographic. In order to do this many changes must be made and that includes the physiques of the competitors. In order to reach new demographics the physiques much change in a way so that they are no longer disgusting to most people. This means no more extended stomachs, no more saggy man breasts, no more refrigerator physiques etc. These basic physique changes are just a small part of the overall changes that must be made. Ideally when your average straight male or female sees a professional bodybuilder their response should be "Wow, Impressive!" opposed to "Disgusting!".
