cable crossover magic for chest

I've searched this board relentlessly trying to finnd the original post that i read so i could give credit where it's due but couldn't come up with it so if you suggested this step up and get credit where it's due...

With that said, no muscle group in my body seems to struggle in gaining fullness except my chest.  As i've put on weight my chest has remained at square one.  I read on here last week that people are generally broad or have a broad frame especially across the shoulders tend to let their shoulders cheat during pec exercises and they suggested throwing in cable exercises like crossovers.  So i tried those from the top of the machine where you're pulling down and across along with the ones where you pull up and across from the floor (sorry don't know the exact names) and for the first time in a long time my chest has been sore for a couple days and it feels great. 

My suggestion...throw these in if your chest needs a kick in the ass.

Cables are under-rated for SIZE on ANY muscle..also try cable flys.

Another one worth trying, using the two pulleys at the top with separate handles is crossover triceps pushdowns. Awesome pump!!

I quite like Incline Cable Flys, i really feel them in my chest.

Crossover tricep pushdowns...i like that pumpster.  I'll be throwing those in the mix tomorrow thanks for the advice.

LOVE CABLE CROSSOVERS! When I do them I do them from 3 different angles for a set each to polish off my chest work.

the first set will be from up high and cross over low infront of me. NOT JUST TOUCH THE HANDS BUT CROSS THEM AT THE WRISTS ONE OVER THE OTHER and squeeze the hell out of my chest..

second set I'll put the cables set at 90* with my arms at my sides, stand out infront of the machine and cross over from behind my back to the front.


the third and final set, I'll come from the lowest setting on the floor or just abit higher and bring the cable up and cross over at about throat level according to the mirror.

This way I've hit my chest from all angles and really contracted them hard. Also, hold the crossover for a good 2-3 seconds and burn the hell out of your chest. It'll had thickness in no time.
