He's tailor-made to be a runner-up.

so was Coleman......until the quality of the field went to an all-time low and King Yates retired  ;) ;D

nice bowling ball gut  :(

Oh well, eventhough Jay was the rightful winner in 2001, he got his in 06 :)

The only time in current bbing that "the best man won" was in 1998-2000, and 2003. Politics having played even a part in these. If they think Jay is more marketable, I don't see why, because I don't see him in Nike ads or Home Improvement ads (didn't he have a construction business?). I don't see him in ads other than what Ronnie used to do. He's not going to radically change bbing...

So, that being said, hopefully, the best man will not look like a fridge, and I could care less if he is white guy, a black guy (or a afro-Dominican  ;)), or a Asian guy.

Cutler can be this millenium's Yates or Columbu, until someone good comes along.

Not to mention Coleman was so mentally abused by Yates that in 1997 he was about to quit bodybuilding and take up teaching "Ebonics for Dummies"

LOL

He's good, but he will mess up his physique a la Flex did, by working with Chad. Mel already has the gut going on. He has great control of it, but 250 pounds ain't gonna look right on him. He's looks great in the high 220's or low 230's. He looked his best when he won the 1999 USA's.  In the weeks leading up to it, his arms had that same vascularity that Ronnie has.

I believe that was his father's business.

Jay was just toting shit.

I think Melvin did look good in the 230s however, that is just too light to be in the top 5 of the Olympia standing next to guys in the 250s-290s unless you are Dexter who "looks" big in the 220s-30s.
