Every reasonable lawyer would pull the same trick. Why? Because it works. Don't blame lawyers or the laws because some people are fucking stupid enough to fall for the same bullshit on a regular basis.

I'll end up pissing my pants laughing if he goes free. The protests and lawsuits alone would be amusing for years.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I bet he pleas the charges down, get's some probation,counceling, does some community service, donates to abused animals, and all is forgiven.
