i was watching some reruns the last couple days and noticed how many people(mainly women)  appeared as guest on the show and have gone on to have great acting careers.


terri hatcher in the real or fake boobs episode

jane leeves(daphne moon on frasier) played marla the virgin

bryan cranston(dad on malcolm in the middle) was dr. tim whatley

Jennifer Coolidge(stiflers mom) was the masseuse jerry dated

patrick warburton who played david puddy

Debra Jo Rupp(mom in that 70's show) played jerrys manager

debra messing in the episode where george broke up a couple and jerry and elaine wanted to date them
cary elwes was in the same episode and was debra's husband

kristin davis(sex in the city) in the episode where jerry knocked her toothbrush in the toilet

theres lots more but i cant remember.

Don't know some of their names and some already had established careers but:

The naked girl...she was a fitness girl I think...been on the cover of Oxygen (pretty sure).

I caught part of that episode with Jennifer Coolidge the other night. Wow, she looks different! I know it's been at least a decade, but she looks like a tranny, now. I would not have known it was her if not for your post.

James Spader was already famous when he guest starred in the episode where George hounded him for an apology.

The older chick from "Just Shoot Me" played the doctor with the 60's hairstyle who wouldn't refund George's money.

Roz from "Frasier" was in one of the episodes. I don't remember what it was about, but I remember Jerry was at dinner with his parents and his mother described her as stunning and Jerry corrected her and said she was only attractive.

Did anyone besides me ever notice that Jerry always had to have the most attractive girlfriend? Even during the weeks when George had a really good looking girlfriend, they would step Jerry's girl up a notch.

This reminds me that Sarah Silverman played Kramer's girlfriend during a few episodes.

How sad is it that I actually remember the name of the show she was on? It was "The Father Dowling Mysteries". (Actually, the reason I remember is because I was in grammar school at the time and my principal was named Father Dowling.)


In the episode where George drives James Spader back on the bottle, one of the kids who comes into the ice cream shop was the son on "Roseanne."

Hey, I know some of them!    Seems like in the past I knew a lot of actors and musicians names etc but I don't think I watch nearly as much TV as I used to.  In fact one has been broken for about 3 weeks and we haven't even replaced it yet.
