You are not alone, I actually thought he won ..and started the Thread after the prejudging "CONGRATS TO CHRIS CORMIER: WINNER OF THE MONTREAL PRO" ...then some homo like chick or sean took it down.

Maybe not won but should have beaten QT. Hard to say what role the tricep played in this.

Chris was flat and off still good with all things considering , you could see the flatness in his pecs when he raises his arms they disappear , he shouldn't have won and I think he should be lucky with the place he got .

The OP's pic is probably the best one of Chris from the whole competition (IMO), he does look great there.  However, in a lot of the other pics i've seen, he's pretty soft and his legs let him down - next to Darrem in most poses he wasnt really competing.

when chris turned to the back, he lacked separation and dryness. overall he was not as huge as i the past. if her were a bit sharper in the back, i think it would have helped, but overall Chris was amazing.

he shouldn't give up, if he coasts to the next show, tightens up 5% or so, he'll do very well.

and in the off-season he should concentrate on brining up his size just a tad, maybe 5 pounds or so, so he looks completely filled out.

after the show he was depressed, but i told not to worry, and that he'd qualify next show...damn guy looked like he was ready to kill himself...

perhaps his contract requires that he qualify for the O?  :-\
