to stay healthy or to optimize results?

fish oil= 2 with every meal
vitamin e= depends on the i.u.'s..but most vitamin e supplements are strong enough for a once daily dose
flax= dont need it as long as you have your fish oil
carnitine= this is more of a supplement, not so much a necessity. but for an effective dose, youll need about 5 grams daily.

Most fish oil as vitamin e in it.

The vitamin e in fish oil is generally there as a preservative to prevent oxidation and not enough for a daily requirement which is between 100 & 800 i.u.

I thought the daily requirement was less then 100IU? I could be wrong though.

You're right.
The Daily Value for vitamin E is 30IU, but most research studies show that optimal intakes associated with health benefits are in the range of 100-800 IU – an amount that is unrealistic to be obtained from foods.

Also, natural ("d-") alpha-tocopherol is more bioavailable and preferentially retained by the body compared to synthetic (""dl").  Unfortunately,  it is also about twice the price. It may be preferable to choose a balanced of "mixed tocopherols," (d-alpha, d-beta, d-gamma, d-delta) tocopherol and tocotrienol.

dude..fish oil and vitamins are much more than just "general health" suplements. and so are veggies.   start being religious about 2 fish oil caps at every meal and eating veggies at least 3x per day just like your religious about your p.w.o. whey...they are of equal importance.           the need for fish oil supplementation cannot be overstresed or overstated.  its absolutely vital that you are not omega 3 deficient if you are a all interested in low bf%, increasing or even maintaining muscle mass, and healthy skin/eyes/hair/brain function.

the fiber and phytonutrients inside of veggies are key to good protein metabolism and increasing your immune system(which plays a vital role in muscle tissue recovery and repair)
