Interesting debate.....note to libs.,..OBAMA can't and won't pull out oif Iraq. Once he's in office he'll get his first brief as Commander in Chief and be told to allow the adults to run the war and to shut the hell up. He'll be forced to bring in a strong foreign policy team, by the Democratic party, or he'll end as the 2nd biggest failure next to Carter, we've ever had.
I don't know what you think you're saying, but it's obvious that the military's strings have been pulled by the White House over the last two terms and not the other way around. One of the reasons tours have expanded and breaks between them have increased for Army troops, as opposed to other branches of the military, is because the Army doesn't have the option to decline the White House's requests for more troops.
