Has anyone tried Champion Nutrition protein/other products? How do they stack up against Prolab/MetRX etc.?

Champion is a solid company.

All their products are of high quality. Used them for years... ;)

I used to use their products. They always were pretty solid. Can't speak for the present.

Great company based on California that manufacturers their own powders rather than outsourcing like many other companies do.  They were huge in the 80s but did not stay with the marketing and product development trends that hit once MET-Rx, EAS, Cytodyne, Prolab and others came on the scene.  They also started focussing in on cyclists and endurance markets which took their eye completely off the trends occurring in the bodybuilding supplement wars.  They are a bit outdated in their product line but have very good quality products, especially powders.  The owner Michael Zumpano was the original coauthor of the infamous steroid book "Underground Steroid Handbook" which he wrote with some help from Dan Duchaine.  If you pick up the new book "Steroid Nation" he is sited a great deal throughout as one of the true pioneers in the industry.
