I've got a show next saturday 5/10. Diet right now is around 2200 cals, 300 g. protein 150g carbs.(only after workouts) and very little fat. I'm planning on pulling my post workout carbs starting Sunday and depleting until Wednesday morning. Should be about 50g of carbs each day, only in the morning, mostly ground turkey or chicken and veggies the rest of the day and post evening workout.
The load looks like this:
Wednesday: 400-500 grams (Load from simple carbs, honey, oatmeal, brown sugar and sweet ptotatoes)
Thursday: 300 grams ( mostly oats and sweet potatoes)
Friday: 200 grams, could vary but taper down towards end of day, will limit h2o intake that afternoon
Saturday: Small pancake breakfast with chicken and eggs, rice cakes and jam when needed until prejudging at around 11:30
I like the big load on Wednesday because it gives you a chance to bloat up then regulate the carbs the rest of the week.
