Comments and Suggestions for this board
« on: May 21, 2008, 09:30:46 PM »
This thread will be for serious posts only, positive, negative and in between.

Trying to make a few changes/additions to the board.  What would you like to see?

Keep in mind it is everyone's responsibility to contribute in a positive and respectful manner.  It it not necessarily a mods responsibility to be an expert on everything, participate in everything or read every single post for that matter.  Sometimes enforcing forum rules is all there is time for.  It is not our responsibility to ensure the accuracy of information posted by members.  We're all here to share and learn.

I would like to see more peer reviewed research and people having to back up what they say when challenged. I dont mean in a confrontational manner but more posts like will brinks for example, where the veracity of the information is challenged and scientific well thought out responses are expected. Anecdotal evidence is fine but id like to see a more scientific approach to the nutrition board, starting with the worthless and best supp stickies. ;D

I'd love to be able to agree with you and I do, to a certain extent.  I tried to gravitate in that direction several years ago, but quite honestly... few listened and even fewer participated.  Keep in mind that few post in relation to how many view.   It doesn't appear the mainstream readers are of that 'caliber' (for lack of a better word).  I do believe however there is room for both.

I would like to see people taking about proper food and its benefits instead of discussing pro-hormones all the time like they're some sort of magic pill. I would post more on here if there were more discussions about real food.
