pavlik just dominated his opponent, hit the canvas three times in three rounds. Pavlik has crazy punching power. Give the fans what they want...... Pavlik vs. Calzaghe!!!!

Mora suprised the hell out of me, he did good, the fight could still have gone either way though.  I like Pavlik's style, he mixed up his attacks well and made it look easy.  Him and Calslappy might be interesting, I just don't want to see the fight happen in Wales.  Williams killer instinct was on like shit, he was all over Quintana and made sure he got put away, that's the Williams I want to see fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito.

Max Kellerman brought up Roy Jones Jr and Arthur Abraham, which Pavlik said he is willing to fight anyone in his division.  Kellerman then brought up Calzaghes name and the crowd reacted more than the other two fighters. I think at this point the  middleweight class is so weak with an aging Hopkins and Roy Jones. Who knows what's gonna happen to Winky and Jermaine Taylor (who pavlik has already beaten twice)? Then you have some unknowns like an Arthur Abraham who went the distance Edison Miranda who pavlik already destroyed. It only makes sense for Pavlik to clean out the division like Max said, maybe fight a Joe Calzaghe and wait for a welterweight (which is a much stronger division now) to step up and fight ala Duran, Hearns, or Leonard in the eighties.
As far as Miguel Cotto is concerned Paul Williams certainly has the physical skills to win, but Cotto is YEARS ahead of him in mental toughness. I think Cotto would just work his body until Williams basically gave up. The rising prospect Andre Berto might be one that could eventually beat Cotto, but I think he might have a suspect chin. He certainly has fantastic hand speed though.

Berto impressed me until he graduated from flat out cans to journeyman.  I still want to see Calslappy vs. Jones before those guys retire, it wouldn't be as good as it would have been 7 or 8 years ago, but I want to see it anyway.  There is so many tough guys at 147 it's hard to rank the top 5 or 6, the only thing everybody can agree on is that Mayweather sits atop the heap with Cotto right behind him, all of the other guys need to weed themselves out abit more.  I think Margarito is gonna give Cotto some problems, just like I think D.L.H. would (although I think D.L.H right now has the better chance of beating Cotto).

Cotto and Mosely (when they fought) were almost mirror images, mosely gave Oscar fits (and beat him twice) and I'd almost expect the same kind of fight between Cotto and Oscar...

with Floyd calling it quits this week I could see Oscar aliening himself up with the winner of Cotto/Marg

There is not enough turn around time after the Cotto/Marg fight, although, hell yes I would love to see De La Hoya vs. either one (but preferably Cotto) I think I heard some where that Ricky Hatton turned down an opportunity to fight Oscar ( btw, I think a Pacquiao/Hatton fight would be badass!) Chavez jr. would be interesting seeing as how Oscar has beat his dad twice, PLUS, I think that Chavez jr. could win that fight maybe even by kayo, but he is just not really well known at this time and it would not get alot of PPV buys.  I don't want to see Oscar fight an undersized Hatton or Pacquiao. I say he needs to fight either Paul Williams OR Felix Trinidad, then fight the winner of Cotto/Marg sometime early next year to cap off his career.

I just read today DLH's last fight is going to be in December, they are pursuing the winner of Margartio/Cotto as a possible opponent.
